Chapter 25

 Shizuka's pov

I watched as Kamamoto walked back and forth throughout the bar. He was taking every girl's order. I've always wondered why they came near the summer, it's not like Kamamoto has changed. I stared at Yata and Bandou as well. Then, the bell rang signaling a customer.

"Oh, Shouhei." I said as I saw him.

"Hello, Shizuka-san." he greeted me. He then took notice of Yata and Bandou.

"Yata-san... San-chan? It's been awhile...What happened?"

"NOTHING!!!" They both yelled. Then tons of girl screams were heard. shouhei looked towards the screams only to freeze. Kamamoto looked at him,"Yo! Why isn't it Shouhei!"

"There are flowers behind him." I said and looked at Totsuka.

"Well, with the handsome state he's in now, he needs the props to make him look even more gorgeous." Totsuka smiled. We continued to watch as Shouhei didn't believe for a second that it was Kamamoto.

"DON"T GET OVER YOURSELF, KAMAMOTO!!" Yelled Yata.

"Kamamoto?" Shouhei looked in terror.

"Why are you making that face?" Shouhei looked like he died.

"His soul is coming out." I said as I saw his soul floating out of his mouth.

"That's not funny to joke about Shizu-chan." Izumo said as he lit a cigarette. Totsuka smiled,"THis is Shouhei first summer with us isn't it. KAmamoto had a little weight loss in summer. you see."

It was Yata, Bandou, and Shouhei facing a glowing Kamamoto, and a pleased Izumo. Shohei broke the silence,"No, no, no isn't this strange? I was only away for two months!"

"My appetite has somehow dropped in summer..."

"It feels like summer's going to be here soon when Kamamoto 's size decreased."

"Well, the parts of the removed fat get refreshing too."

"HOW COME YOU GUYS ARE ACTING THAT PLAIN ON THIS MATTER??!!" Totsuka smiled and turned to Mikoto,"King?"

"...HAs something about him changed?"

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE IT?!"

"Eh, but there is quite a change in his form, right Anna?"

"His red has reduced."

"That's you conclusion?" Shouhei turned to Eric,"Eric, this is your first time seeing him right?" Eric looked at him,"There are a lot of wonders... In this world that is."

"ERic?!"

"No way, you're all just messing with me."

"Seems that Shouhei-kun is still being leery." TOtsuka pulled out a few photos.

"THis is Kamamoto in the past two months." Shouhei looked at the photos in shock.

"Yes, there is a difference in the forts month, but-" He caught sight of me,"Shizuka-san, this person is not Kamamoto, right?" He looked desperate. I decided to play along,"Correct."

"See!" Shouhei said looking at all of them,"That is Kamamoto Rikio. You should show respect to your seniors." I said. He looked shot, and Totsuka burst out laughing. Shouhei looked down cast. I patted his back,"Welcome to Homura." I said. Then, more girls appeared calling out Kamamoto,"Go, Kamamoto, give them first class service." IZumo said. Yata and Bandou had an irritated face on as they watched him talk to the girls.

"WHats wrong with you guys? MAKing a fuss over a fat guy who got thinner. Virgins sure have free time." LAughed Chitose.

"Rather, you should enjoy the summer too, wontcha. Why, just yesterday, I got to know a lovely girl..." He gestured at me and Anna. He then caught sight if the girl talking to Kamamoto. A breeze went through the bar, blowing a leaf around Chitose head.

"For a fat guy that has gotten thinner, he sure is beating you, Virgin." I said as I stared at Chitose.

"And thus herein, the 'Committee meeting of fattening up Kamamoto Rikio' begins!" Chitose declared. This earned a cheer from Yata and Bandou. We watched as Chitose went on an over dramatic speech about how they put in a lack of effort, and how they were trying to "Help" Rikio.

"You guys sure are flip-flopping."
"Shut up! We can't enjoy summer as it is!" Yelled Chitose. They then went into a deep plan and wrong theories of why Kamamoto was losing weight. They set their plan into action.

Herbal tea- FAIL

Bathe instead of Shower- FAIL

Over stuffing- FAIL

"Shouhei, we'll tell you about HOMRA's darkest secret." Totsuka started one night.

"Kamamoto loses weight in summer because he was storing and using his fat from winter, resulting in an over-boost of HOMRA's power ... When Yamamoto's energy is released to it's limit value, once the entropies within the range of 10km radius of around Kamamoto reach a limit, the Shizume City will be destro- OUCH!!" IZumo hit him on the head.

"Don't say ridiculous things like that." He said. I looked at Totsuka,"Nice choice of words."

The "Committee" continued to feed, and feed, and feed until Kamamoto was normal size again.

"It really was Kamamoto-san."

"He's fat." ALl three of them said.

"Why are you tired, Yata-san?"

"SHUT UP! JUST STAY FAT!!! DON'T HAVE THE WOMEN CONSTANTLY 'KYAA' OVER YOU!!!" YAta kicked Kamamoto.

"What happened to your hair?" Shouhei asked.

"OH, when I'm losing weight, my hair somehow grows faster. It was troublesome, so I had Shizuka-san cut it for me." He turned to me.

"Shizu-chan sure is good with hair cuts, Shouhei, if you need one just ask her." Totsuka said. I rolled my eyes, then the bell rang. A girl walked in and called out Rikio.

"What are you doing here?"

"How mean, you left your handset at home, so aunty had me come and deliver it. And yet you're being mean about it."

"Enough, my bad. Thanks, you're done right?"

"Mou~ Idiot Ricchan!" She pouted.

"Oi... is she your girlfriend?" Chitose asked, he looked pretty shaken up.

"Yes." She said.

"Surely not. She's just a childhood friend that lives around the corner in my neighborhood. She's pretty noisy- OW, ow, ow, ow, OUCH!!" She was pinching his fat.

"Ayumi! That hurts!" The trio looked so done at the moment. I sighed and continued to sip on my lemonade.

I layed in my bed. I was staring at my hand when a sharp pain traveled through my chest. I clenched my chest and curled up. I could feel the flames start to spread around me, and I tried my best to control it.

"Just...a bit...longer." I gasped out. The feeling of being burned flew throughout my body. The slate wasn't happy about my decisions, and I could feel it. As the pain subsided, I let out a breath. I was sweating and panting. I had answers to look for, and I didn't have all the time in the world. I had to hurry.
