Chapter 16

Totsuka pov

"Okay. In the Red Clan, there is a lot of fighting involved." I said as I stared at the two newbies. Yata-chan looked like he could explode from joy, and Saru looked like he could care less. We were out in the baseball diamond that was near HOMRA. Shizuka was sitting in the dugout with Kamamoto eating some snacks he brought.
"Cool! Does that mean we can kick any ass at any time?" Cheered Yata. With that Shizuka looked up. I smiled and said,"Yata, you shouldn't use your new power to control innocents. We only fight when someone fights with us, or when we really need to." Yata seemed to calm down a bit and a look of understanding crossed his face. Saru then looked at me for the first time, he seemed surprised.
"That's right Yata-chan, Saruhiko. We said we would be different from other gangs. And how we stand out is that we don't go for innocents to do our bidding or work. No matter what others say, as long as we know what we are doing and why, we don't care." Spoke Kamamoto as he walked over. His snacks were gone and that left a disappointed Shizuka.
"Homura is a family and HOMRA is our home." I spoke. Yata gave an enthuisiastic nod, and Saruhiko continued looking at Shizuka. When I turned to look I could only understand more as to why their were rumors about her, and why Mikoto loved her. She was facing the city, her profile was facing us, the slight breeze blowing her silk black hair back, making her look as if she was an angel. But, I recognized that look in her eyes. I followed her sight to see the rest of Homura walking towards us.
"King!! What are you doing here?" I asked. Izumo patted Shizuka's head and said,"We wanted to see how our newbies were doing." I gave him a smile,"THey're doing great."
"How would you know. You don't fight." Said Kousuke. This made everyone bust out laughing.
"I don't need to fight in order to know what to say."
"Totsuka doesn't need to fight." Shizuka spoke up, shutting everyone up.
"Becuase Totsuka's aura is calming to where they can't really hurt him, and his words would help him more in a fight then if he actually was fighting." Said Shizuka. I couldn't believe it, Shizu-chan stood up for me.
"Shizu-chan!!" I hugged her earning a little whine from her.
"Yeah you couldn't fight for your life, but you always seem to talk your way out of death." Said Izumo as he sighed. He took a cigarette and inhaled it, before blowing. Mikoto simply held the cigarette in his mouth. He looked at Shizuka and motioned for her. Shizuka looked back at us and gave a little smile,"Let's go home."
She then turned to Mikoto and quickly walked to him. Wrapping a tiny alarm around one of his muscular ones.
I waited as everyone left. It was only me and Izumo.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Asked Izumo as he pulled the cigarette bud. I simply smiled at him.
"Just how lucky we are to have found a wonderful Queen that matched with our violent King." At this Izumo gave a sign and looked up at the darkening sky.
"Yeah, we are lucky aren't we." With that he started to walk back. And I smiled as I followed him.
