Homra's Red Queen (K project)

Chapter 32

       3rd Pov 

       Shizuka sat next to Izumo as she, and the rest of HOMRA, looked down on the fallen gang members. Izumo was sitting next to the bruised leader. He was questioning him in English, so she didn't bother paying attention. One of the members near her feet tried to get up, however Shizuka quickly landed her heel in the back of his neck. Successfully knocking him back out, if not killing him. She had a bored look on her face, as she waited for the three to soon enter. She would normally walk with them, but this time she decided to help the rest of her family. None of them liked the fact that she was going back into action, but none really opposed when she sent them a look. 

       Just as Izumo was about to ask another question, a loud bang and smoke filled the room. Standing among them was none other than Mikoto,Anna, and Totsuka. Izumo dropped his head then looked back up with a lazy smile. 

      "That's too fast Mikoto." He chuckled, reverting back to Japanese. Mikoto grunted, then motioned for Shizuka. She complied willingly, basically jumping out of her seat and quickly rushed to Mikoto's side. Totsuka patted her head and laughed. Anna, then took off towards the man's direction and held up one of her red marbles to her eye. It was a tense few seconds, until she relaxed and mumbled,"He doesn't know anything." This received plenty of groans and curses. 

       "Lets go." Mikoto started to walk out with Shizuka and Anna by his side and Totsuka slightly waiting for Izumo, who gave a wave to the bruised man, leaving him tied up. 

        As they were walking through the building, Shizuka stopped. Everyone stopped as well, looking at their Queen who had her eyes staring off into space. Totsuka looked at her,"Shizu-chan?" Shizuka's eyes met Mikoto's and said,"The Blue's are here." 

        Shizuka stared down at them, along with the rest. She kept her eye contact with the Blue King as he pulled out his sword, calling for his Damocles sword. Mikoto smirked,"Burn them." 

        "NO BLOOD! NO BONE! NO ASH!" Mikoto jumped from the railing, landing perfectly in the center, then an explosive red came out. His Damocles sword made their appearance, making Shizuka flinch slightly. Totsuka and Izumo looked at her worriedly. Before the rest of HOMRA could react, Mikoto walked up and put his hands in front of Munakata. Reisi raised one of his eyebrows and quickly put on handcuffs. 

         "M-MIkoto-san?!" Yelled Yata. He was about ready to jump until a commanding order made it's way throughout the crowd. They all stared at the small woman in shock, she was clenching the railing and they could clearly see how fast it was starting to melt. 

         "Shizuka-san?" Yata mumbled, bewildered by her order. She sighed, then looked at the rest of the group, mercury eyes showed understanding and at the same little to no room for arguments. 

         "Mikoto can handle himself. At the moment we need to be worrying about the Colorless King, and we need to find him. We will do the original plan once we get back to HOMRA and set up." Her voice was soft yet cold, instilling the order. She looked one last time as the Blues led their King away. Her jaw clenched slightly. 

          "Let's get going. We have a King we need to kill." She said as she started walking towards the exit. 

         "As always, knowing just what he is planning." Chuckled Izumo. Anna was walking next to Shizuka, holding her hand. Totsuka was next to Anna, having Shizuka in the middle. The HOMRA boys getting rowdy, ready to start the search. 

         Shizuka shrugged, her face indifferent. Totsuka smiled,"You don't like this plan, do you?" Shizuka looked at him,"Does it matter? It's for the sake of finding that corrupted King, and avenging you." 

         "What about yourself?" 

        "My life doesn't matter." Her voice was cold, and held no regrets. 

       "Man, if Mikoto heard you say that, he'd be angry." Izumo chuckled. 

        "Well he's not here at the moment, so I think I'm fine." 

        

       "Cold as ever Shizu-chan."
