The guard barged in the Master's throne room, panting like a dog. "Master! The dwarf and the girl escaped from their cells!" He yelled, rushing closer to the pale man sitting quietly on his golden seat. His eyebrow shot up when the guard mentioned Maria. He was surprised that a woman as quiet and scared as her wouldn't even dare to fight them. Perhaps he was wrong about her. On the account of the dwarf, this was no shock. This was going to be more interesting than he thought. The guards led him to the surveillance room, and Rosario stared at the cameras with a smirk. His eyes were glued at the screen, and he watched the two figures running down the hallways. The dwarf fought his new recruits well, though the girl was a little disappointing. She was still weak, in her human ways. The guard was nervously pacing behind him, waiting for his Master's anger at their incompetence.

"If we don't do anything soon, they will get away, Master." Rosario's jaw twitched, and swatted a hand toward the panicked guard.

"No, let them go." The Master said, letting his words roll off his tongue. The guard was about to protest when Rosario cut him off, and snarled at him viciously. "Disrespect me one more time, and death will seem like a good option when I'm done with you."

"I gave you the power that you posses, and I can easily take it away." Rosario face Hunter, who was a few seconds away from fainting. "And, I swear, loosing your abilities will be much more painful than getting them."

Hunter swallowed hard, and recoiled himself. He nodded feverishly, remembering the suffering he went through to be what he was today. "I'm very sorry, Master."

A mocking smile grew back on Rosario's face. "This is perfect. Can't you see?" Rosario said, his voice starting to drift to a mere whisper. "This is all part of my plan..."

His eyes darted back to the screen to see Maria knocking out one of his pitiful new recruits, and they fell like bugs under the boot of the axe wielding dwarf. "This is just perfect."

"Give the order to let them go." Rosario added.

"Yes, Master."

"We made it!" Maria huffed from all the running, and fighting she had gone through to be able to set foot outside the dark mansion. Kurog groaned, his muscles getting tired quickly. "I'm out of shape." He moaned. They both heard a branch snap, and Maria's heart raced. The dwarf cursed in a language that the woman was a stranger to, and he grabbed his axe from his back.

"Go hide in the woods, I'll go see what that was." And with those words, the dwarf ran into the darkness. Maria stared at the short man until the rising fog made him disappear. "Hide?" She mumbled to herself. "Where?"

"There are only trees around here. I can't hide in a tree... or maybe up a tree." She darted towards the large dark trees beside her, disappearing into the darkness as well.

"What do you mean? How can you expect me to wait?" Nicholas raged. It had been hours after the sunrise, and he was in full alarm. Last night was still a blur to him, but he seemed to remember a few details. He remembered a shivering body next to him, outside in the cold autumn air, and he remembered being angry, though he could recall the reason why. All he knew was that Maria was no where to be found, and that he really needed to find her, before he turned mad.

Ever since he woke up, all bloody, and lying on the pavement entrance of the backyard, with his wolf on edge. His eyes had stayed red since his shifting, and every other wolf didn't dare to step closer than a meter to him. He wanted to find her, to hold her once more.
