The Wilderness

Jade's POV

I sat down in class next to Jesy. Olivia was still getting her things at her locker with Perrie and Leigh Anne. The bell rang and they came inside just in time. "Now class, I have some exciting news to tell you all." I wonder what it is.
"The school has decided to go on a camping trip this Friday! It will help you build more leadership, awarness and cooperate in teams." A camping trip! I'm so excited! Everyone in the class started to cheer. "Okay, okay. Here are your forms and it also lists all the things you will need like a sleeping bag, warm clothing, a toothbrush and much more." I can not wait to go! The school year is going great so far. The whole class started to talk to one another and our teacher let us. "This is going to be amazing!" Jesy said. I nodded in agreement. It's time to say goodbye to the city and hello to nature side.

It was finally Friday! We all had to be at by 6:45 am. It was hard waking up but it didn't matter if i was tired, were going camping! Leigh Anne wasn't that excited. She only came because she wanted to be with us. Other then that she hates camping. The only thing that I hate are the bugs and possibly bears.

We all entered the bus. I sat with Olivia, Jesy and Leigh Anne sat together and Perrie sat with Zayn. They look so cute together. I looked over at Olivia and saw that she went back to sleep. Wow, that was fast. I looked behind me and saw Leigh Anne and Jesy reading a magazine. Of coarse they would do that. I just looked out the window and watched all of the trees pass by. I hope this trip doesn't take long because Leigh Anne will just start complaining. She's funny. I just stared out and started to hum. It calms me down and keeps me occupied.

I how long does it take to get there? I kept on staring out the window. "Jade?" I her Olivia say. "Oh, your awake!" I said looking Olivia. "Are we there yet?" Olivia asked. I see she is still pretty tired. "Nope." I said. To be honest, I really don't know where we are. All I can see are a bunch of trees. So I think we're getting closer. "We might almost be there. I look over to see what Perrie and Zayn were doing. Zayn said something and then Perrie started to blush. Awwwwww!! "Olivia look." I said pointing to Perrie and Zayn.

She smiled and then started to sing out loud so they, mostly perrie can hear her. It won't be that loud since they are sitting right in front of us.
"Perrie and Zayn sitting in the tree, K-I-S-S I-N-G! first comes, love then comes marriage, then comes a baby sitting in a carriage!" Perrie and and Zayn looked at us. Perrie's cheeks were red. Haha! Then she started to sing again. "Perrie and Zayn sitt-"
"Shut up Olivia!" Perrie said but laughing a bit. I just smiled and looked out the window again. There were loads of trees surrounding us. I looked back. "Jesy, Leigh Anne are we almost there?" I asked. "Don't ask me, I hate camping and never I want to pay attention to it." It made me laugh. "I'm not sure." Jesy said. "Okay." I started to get a bit impatient. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. It's going to be a long ride.

"Jade wake up! We're here!" I opened my eyes and saw Olivia jumping up and down. I looked out the window and saw trees and a office. "Jade get up!" I got up and then squealed. Yay! We're finally here! Everyone came off the bus one by one. Once my feet hit the ground I felt free. "Everyone this is Kate and she will be the camp instructor for the girls. So follow her to your cabins. And boys you follow John." I collected my things and followed Kate.

She took us to the cabins. "Okay so each cabin has two bunk beds, so that means four people per room. Grab a friend or make a group of four so it's easier." Me, Olivia, Jesy, Leigh Anne and Perrie all looked at each other. There were five of us. "Hey Perrie, want to be in our group?' Perrie turned around and it was Ariana. "Sure! Bye guys, I'll see you later." She waved and then left. Well that leaves four of us. "Okay girls, you can take the first cabin right over there." Olivia thanked her and then we walked over there.

Olivia's POV

Once we got in, I called for the top bunk. Jade rolled her eyes. "Fine." I opened up one of my bags and took out my sleeping bag and an extra blanket. I made my bed and then threw my other bags on top. "There, finished." I wonder what we have to do now. Then Kate came through the door. "Girls we're having a camp meet. Come and follow me." She said. So that's what we did. There were a bunch of other girls with here. And the guys were coming too.

"Now this is a meeting to tell you guys what to expect during this trip and the rules." John said.
Everyone nodded and I listened. "With the cabins, girls you can't go in the boy's cabin and boys can't go in the girls cabin." They said a few more rules. "The last rule is the most important one. Just have fun!!!" We all cheered. I love this camp already. "It's 1:00 in the afternoon so it's lunch. Follow us."

They told us how every morning at 9:30 breakfast will be served. Noon is lunch and 7:00 is dinner. The consolers seemed really cool and fun. I know that this camping trip is going to be the best.

I sat sat down at a table with my friends. "So Perrie, what's going on between you and Zayn?" Jade asked. Well stared at her waiting for an answer. "Nothing. We're just good friends." Then Jesy piped in. "So you don't like him?" Perrie rolled her eyes. "No. Like I said were just friends." We all just shrugged. I have a feeling Perrie likes him.
We were all sitting around a campfire singing and roasting marshmallows. I looked up at the sky and saw so many stars. I nudged Leigh Anne and she gazed at the stars. "This is actually really nice. I officially love camping!" I laughed. Silly Leigh Anne but at least she likes camping. Jade and Perrie were roasting marshmallows and Jesy was singing along with everyone else.

My favourite part about camping are the campfires. You get to talk, relax and make s'mores!
I put my head on Leigh Anne's shoulder and looked at the huge fire. I could never get sick of this. Never.
