Happy Birthday

Olivia's POV

"Wow, this buffet is nice!" I said. "I know right! It has so much food!" Jade said. I nodded my head as we walked around to see what we wanted to eat. There were literally so many choices! Me, Jade and our mum are at a really cool breakfast buffet. We found it on the internet. I'm so glad that the Internet exists! After picking out our breakfast,  we sat down at the table where our mum was. "Happy birthday girls!" She said with excitement. We smiled and said thank you. I'm so excited to see what we will be doing today! After we finished eating breakfast, we got up and left since we already paid.

"It's your choice of where to go." Mum said. I thought for a minute. What would I want to see? There is just so much! "Why don't we go to some cool mini shops!" Jade gushes. Me and mum both nodded our heads. And of course we had a map with us. Why wouldn't we? This will be easy. There are a bunch of mini shops everywhere in New York. We started walking to the nearest ones which were really not that far. We entered one of the mini shops. It was cute! There is so much jewelry, antiques and etc! There was something that caught my eye though. It was this cute little white bear that had a heart stitched to the left side of its chest that said love. I smiled at it.

My mum walked up behind me and put her hand on my shoulder. "You know that you can get it." She said. I looked at her. "I can? Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded her head, picked up the bear and gave it to me. I smiled. "Thank you." I said. "Anything for my birthday girl." She said with a smile. I gave her a side hug and then walked over to the cash register. I paid for the bear and then we left. "So I see you got something huh?" Jade said. I nodded my head and showed her the bear. "It's so cute!" She gushed. "I know right!" I said.

Then we just walked around the streets in New York. I love New York! It's so big and awesome! It's very different from London. We also went to the mall and saw The Statue of Liberty from a close distance! How cool is that!? After awhile, we got back home to celebrate.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Jade and Olivia, happy birthday to you!" Our mum sang. I smiled and so did Jade. I looked down at the cake. It look really cool! "Now make a wish." She said. I nodded my head. Then on the count of three we blew. "1,2,3!" And the we blew the candles. We all clapped and started to eat the cake. It was delicious! This was the best birthday ever! But what made it good, was that it was with the people I love.
