Jade's POV

I shot up from my bed. I looked at the clock and it read 5:00. I smiled and got out of my bed. I ran down the hallway and went into Olivia's room. Like I guessed, she was sleeping. I rolled my eyes and started shaking her and saying her name. "Olivia! Olivia! Olivia! Wake up!" I shouted. She groaned and then tried to go back to sleep. That's it! I walked to the bathroom, I put some cold water in my hands, walked back to her room and then splashed it on her face. "Ahhhh!" She shouted and she shot up and whipped her face. "Why did you do that!?" She shouted. I crossed my arms. "Remember? We are going to new York today." I said. Her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! I have to get ready!" She said as she quickly got out of her bed.

I laughed while I walked out of her room and back into mine. I got some makeup from my suit case and some clothes and ran into the bathroom. I closed the door and locked it before I took a shower. I ran the water on a warm temperature. I stripped of my pajamas and went in. I washed my hair since I didn't wash it in a week, witch is not so good. After I took my shower, I got out and dried myself. I dried my hair, put on some makeup and got dressed. I got out of the bathroom and walked downstairs with my suitcases. "Hi mum!" I greeted her. She smiled. "Hello Jade." She said. I put my suitcases in the living room and then I sat at the table with Olivia. "I can't wait!" I said with excitement. Olivia looked like she was about to collapse on her breakfast. "OLIVIA!" I shouted. "Huh? What!?" She said with shock. "Nothing, I'm just keeping you from falling in your food." I said. She glared at me and then started eating. She's definitely NOT a morning person! 

I finished eating my breakfast and then put it away, as did Olivia too. I went to the bathroom to go brush my teeth and then I came back. "Are you girls ready to go?" Mum asked us. I nodded my head as I put my coat and shoes on. So did Olivia. We got our suitcases and went to the car. We put the suitcases in the back of the car and then we went in. Our mum drove to the airport. We got out of the car and brought our suitcases with us. "Wow, the airport is busy." I said. "Duh, of course it is. I'd the winter break. Many people are going on vacation." Olivia said. "That's true." Mum said. I just nodded my head and kept walking.

I looked out the window of the plane. I can see New York! "Olivia, we are almost there!" I said. She smiled widely and jumped in her seat. "Fasten your seat belts, we are now landing in New York." The lady said. I felt the plain go down. I just can't wait! I will explore! I'll definitely explore. Finally the plane landed and we were ready to get out. We got our suitcases and got off the plane. We had to call a taxi since we didn't have our car any more. We luckly got a taxi, and had enough money to get to our hotel. "This is so cool." Olivia said. "I know, New York is awesome!" I said as I looked out the window.

The taxi finally stopped in front of this big building. "We're here." Our mum said. I nodded my head and then got out. I walked towards the hotel and entered. Once we got our key for our room, we obviously went to our room. We went up the elevator and and walked to room 27. "It's here." I said. I opened the door and then walked in. "It's really nice." Olivia said. "Yeah, it is." I said. I put my suitcase in the corner of the room. "Oh, Jade and Olivia, you will have to share a bed." Mum said. We both groaned. Great! I know Olivia kicks in her sleep! I looked out the window. It was quite dark outside.

"You guys better get ready for bed. It's 10:00 pm. We have a big day planned for tomorrow." She said. I nodded Mt head and went to the bathroom to get ready. I got in my pajamas and then got out. I got in the bed and fell fast asleep.
