A Merry Christmas

Olivia's POV

I smashed my pillow over my head. Today is Christmas eve! And that also means I am still not knowing what to get everyone for Christmas! The hardest part for me is Christmas shopping! I knew I had to do it. And for different people. Every year our family does this Christmas eve party where we invite a bunch of family and friends. And we like to exchange gifts. But only one gift we bring. It's really fun and awesome but buying the presents can be a bit difficult. I forced myself to roll off my bed and onto the floor. I groaned from the slight pain that on my back from when I crashed tight into the floor. I slow got on my knees and crawled to the bathroom. I am definitely not a morning person. As I crawled down the hallway, Jade looked at me and started laughing at the fact that I was too lazy to walk. I was also too lazy to care.

I crawled into the bathroom and lifted my weight with the help of the sink. Then I washed my face and did all that stuff. I now feel a lot more awake! I walked out and went back into my room. I closed and locked the door and then started to do my make up. After that I went over to my closet, picked out something to wear and got dressed. I walked down stairs to go eat some breakfast and watch t.v. Today is going to be one busy day of shopping. I sighed. Another thing to worry about is the fact that it's probably going to be really busy at the mall and at all the stores. And better yet, I get to take the bus and subway! I put my food away, brushed my teeth, put my coat and shoes on, and then I just waited for Jade by just distracting myself with some t.v.

"Hey Liv!" I heard Jade say. "Sup." I literally have no idea why I just said that. The stupid t.v has invaded my brain! Jade came behind me all dressed up and ready to go. "Come on, let's get roll!" She said. I nodded my head in response and then I got up and walked out the door. We walked over too the bus stop. Once the bus picked up, we took a seat. "Okay, so our first stop will be at target." I said with an American accent. "And then we'll go to the mall!" Jade said with the same accent.  By the time, the bus stopped at a street that was near target. We got up and then got off the bus. We walked all the way to target to buy our mom something. It took awhile to fund what we where looking for. In fact, we actually left target and had to go to three different stores to find a record player! A good record player.

We left the store to go to the mall. When we got there, we took a little break and went to have some Starbucks. This time, we were going separately. To buy something for each other. We got up and then went our separate ways. We decided to meet back at this Starbucks in 30 mins. I think that's enough time to buy something for each other. I went up to the second floor and looked through some of the mini shops there. After 26 mins, I started to head back early since I have what I need and it's a bit crowded. I finally got back! I saw Jade coming back too. Great! Now we just have to go home and get everything set.

"And... done!" I said as I finished wrapping the last gift. "Girls! Start getting ready!" Our mum shouted. I nodded my head, got up and walked over to my closet. Hmm... I picked out something and then got ready. I looked in the mirror to fix up my outfit. Nice! I took a present and carried it down the stairs. Then I saw Jade near the Christmas tree. "Hey Jade, where to the put the presents again?" I asked her. She turned around and then pointed to the Christmas tree. Of course! Why am I so stupid!? I walked to the tree and put the present down on the floor. By the time we knew it, there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" Jade called and she ran to the door. She opened the door and then a bunch of people came in. Then I spotted Perrie, Jesy and Leigh Anne! "Hey!" I said as I spreader my arms to give them a hug. "How are you?" I asked. They all said "I'm great!" At different times.

I laughed. Then Jade came over. "Hey guys!" She said. Then they all said hi back and then hugged each other. We told them where to put their presents and then we went to go hang out and eat cookies while our parents talked to each other. It was a really fun time! We danced, sang some karaoke, and me and Jade also got to talk to our family that we don't see as often! It's was really fun!

I sat up and moved my hair out of my face. I smiled knowing that it was Christmas morning! Me and Jade were practically out all day Christmas shopping! I got out of my bed and walked downstairs. I saw mum making some Eggs and Bacon. "Merry Christmas mum!" I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Merry Christmas Olivia." She said with a smile. I looked over at the clock to see what time it was. It was 7:00 in the morning!  Wow, I actually woke up early! I heard thumping down the stairs and I knew it was Jade. "Merry Christmas everyone!!" She said dramatically. Me and mum laughed while she went to go say good morning to her. "Merry Christmas drama queen!" I called. She  just smiled and then sat on the couch.

Mum finished breakfast and then we went to go eat. Shortly after that, we started to open each other's presents! Well let mum go first. We gave her a big box . She looked excited to open it. And when she did, she was so happy. "Awe! Thank you so much girls!" She said as she hugged us both. Me and Jade smiled. Then we started to open our presents and mum opened the rest of her's. I got some makeup, hair stuff, mickey mouse slippers, a sister necklace that me and Jade share, a bracelet that says my name and a picture of the three of us! This was definitely a great Christmas! Especially when you share it with the people you love.
