Mystery POV

I stabbed the knife above Niall’s heart. I knew it wouldn’t kill him, but it would hurt him enough. It would hurt him just as much as he hurt me years ago. He broke my heart and I’m just as close to breaking his, literally.

“What are you doing?!” Someone shouted, snapping me back into reality. I leave the knife in the now limp and slowly dying 16 year old. I turned around to find that Sam dude. In his hand he held an AK47 fully loaded and aiming at me.

“Does it matter?!” I disguised my voice and started walking to the exit, all the way the gun followed me. Sam was shaking, you could tell by how he held the gun in his hands. His face was pale and he looked like he was going to cry. However, his need for revenge was more powerful than the need to comfort his dying brother. It’s sick that they are brothers, Sam is nothing like my Nialler. At least Niall can be nice and would be caring in this moment of time.

“WHAT THE FUCKING HELL DID YOU JUST DO?!” He yelled, ignoring my question. I rolled my eyes and walked stiffly to the front door, gun still aimed right at my head.

“I STABBED NIALL! ISN’T IT OBVIOUS?” I  shot back and opened the front door.

“STOP RIGHT THERE!” The safety lock was pulled off and in one movement he could kill me instantly. But it wasn’t as if I cared. I stopped and looked Sam in the eyes, locking and staring at him. My hood was slowly falling down and you could see my forehead now. “Hands. On. Your. Head.” He gritted through his teeth. I let out a deep chuckle at his reaction. He wasn’t scary! Not in the least.

“Or what?” I asked, leaning against the door. “You’re gonna do what? Shoot me? Go on, as if I care. You’re the one who’s gonna have to deal with two dead bodies.” I tormented. His eyes flickered over to Niall.

Niall’s face had lost all colour, his eyes were shut and he was in a limp sitting position. Blood soaked his ratted white shirt. It was almost as if it had been dip died that colour. His head was lolled to the side and his hair was just a mess on his head.

“That can be arranged.” He growled at me. I looked back over to him and frowned.

“How so? I know Dave ain’t going to help you anymore. Most of this business are out for your blood so don’t go thinking you’ll get help.” His Adam’s apple bobbed, showing that he had taken a deep gulp. The gun lowered slightly. I laughed, yet again, at his cowardice.

“You’ve got 5 seconds.” He said. I was confused and stood still for a few moments before it clicked in my mind. “4… 3…2-“

“Alright I’m going!” I yell and turn on my heel.

“1..” then there was a loud bang from the gun. I felt throbbing in my body and it took seconds to figure out where it was coming from. It grew sharper and more painful down in the back of my left leg. “Fuck off now or you’ll never be able to walk again.” He yelled at he and took taunting steps towards me, reloading the gun.

Worried, I ignored the pain and limped out the house, hopping around the woods until I came to the car which was picking me up. I opened the passenger door and hopped in. I took a look at my leg and saw the bullet had gone in my leg. It wasn’t deep. A centimetre or two, that’s all.

I opened up the hand box as the car started to drive off. I took out some wet wipes and dabbed the wound. I flinched as I touched the hole in my leg. It wasn’t a big deal. I hadn’t lost much blood and the bullet only hit the flesh. I took out the bullet and threw it out the window.
