It all began one day many years ago. The dat that Gracie met Dylan and Quinn. It was the first day of school, the day they all began third grade. They all walked in to meet their teacher, Mrs.Davis. Gracie walked in, her hand held tightly by her mom.

"Okay, Honey, your going to stay here for a few hours while I go to work then your going to get on bus 01-29 and its going to take you home, okay?" her mom said.

"Okay Momma I understand we've been through this a hundred times." she replied rolling her eyes and letting go of her mom's hand.

"Okay, Honey, I'll see you later. Love you." she said giving her a hug and handing her, her lunchbox.

"Bye Momma!" she said waving as her mom walked down the hallway.

She walked into the classroom and walked over to the lady in the front. There were a few other students there but not many.

"Ummm... excuse me miss. Are you Mrs.Davis?"

"Yes sweety I am." she said turning around from where she was writing on the dry erase board. "Who are you?"

"I am Gracie Andrews. Nice to meet you." she replied obviously not shy at the type. This would change in a few months.

"Well miss. Gracie. It's nice to meet you too. Go find your seat and put your book bag by your chair." Mrs.Davis said turning back to the board.

Gracie turned and looked cautiously around the room. As she was talking the rest of the students had come in and taken their seats. She looked for an empty place only to find all of the tables filled. As she scanned the room once more she noticed a single small table at the back of the room. The table sat three but only one seat was taken. Gracie began to weave her way around all of the tables to the back. As she got closer she started to be able to see the person sitting in the chair. She was a short girl, with purple glasses and long dark brown hair pulled into a braid falling down her back. Her big brown eyes looked abnormally large because of her glasses.

"Hi, can I sit here?" Gracie asked the girl.

"Yea sure!" she replied loudly. "I'm Quinn. What's your name?" the girl responded.

"Hi Quinn, its nice to meet you. I'm Gracie" she responded.

"Well hiya!" Quinn responded this time much quieter than before.

Then the bell rang. Gracie and Quinn both got seated and looked up at the teacher. The listened to the usuall endless rant of the teacher then they were assigned to have one person from their table go get a box from the front of the room and take it back to their table.

"I'll go get it." Gracie said standing up and heading to the front of the room.

She grabbed a box and peeked inside the half open lid. It was filled with art supplies. As she began to walk back to her seat she passed right infront of the door.

"Sorry I'm late!" she heard a boy scream. Next thing she knew something crashed into her side sending her sprawled onto the floor. The box lid popped off sending everything in it rolling around the room.

"Dang it!" she whispered. She looked up from her place on the ground to see a boy her age and about her height looking down at her. He had blond hair and blue eyes and he was rather cute.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry are you okay?!" he said reaching out a hand to help her up.

"I'm alright I think." she said grabbing the nearest table to steady herself and the dizzyness in her head.

"No your not your bleeding." he said pointing to her arm. She looked down and realized she did have a rather large cut on her arm from the scissors.

"Its alright I will get a bandaid later." she said.

"I'm Dylan. Dylan Reid!" he said, "let me help you clean this up." he said dropping to the floor and beginning to pick things up.

"I'm Gracie Andrews." she responded picking up the box and beginning to help.

After they were done Dylan beegan looking for a seat only finding the one at Gracie and Quinns table.

"Hey Gracie where are you sitting?" he asked grabbing her arm as she began to walk back to the table.

"In the back there is an extra seat if you want." she responded sweetly. She shook his had off her arm and grabbed it. she began to slightly pull him to the back of the room where she was sitting.

"Quinn this is Dylan. Dylan this is Quinn." she said sitting down. Dylan walked behind her and took a seat inbetween the two girls.

"Alright class these will be your perminant seats. So get to know your neighbors." the teacher said.

"Oh! Well I guess I'm stuck with you two."
