Empty Tears
She has left me here alone
My voice rings hollow in this home
The pain I felt of the loss we had
Stole my hope of being called dad
On top of the loss my heart hardened true
Nomore joy could I give to you
So you left me to face this fear
Taking everything with you I hold dear
Now I sit here alone in the dark
Talking through my tears as they pour from my heart
Imagination is the worst enemy of all
Speaking to you but talking to the wall
The pain is real and the hurt burns deep
I find it hard to walk on my own two feet
Hiding my pain daily when someone is near
Hurting from your lack of joyful tears
