Deafening silence
I hear every sound that echoes in this house
Ricochets off the walls and bounces back to me
In the nights I can't get enough sleep
Because the sound of your voice isn't wrapped around me
But why should I be the one stuck in the past
If you're the one that left me with only the memories to last
I don't regret a single thing or the way we lived
But the empty silence in this house is a constant reminder of what you did
