Heidi's pov

I made sure to bump into nick extra hard as I said "Stop standing like a bag of stupid in the middle of the hall"

He growled at me. But I kept on walking. That isn't the first time he's growled at me. It was beyond weird but I was use to it.

Kelly and josh sat at the very back of the class. They were whispering in exited tones.

"Hey, what's up"

"Omg did you hear about the huge party Nicks throwing this weekend for his 18th birthday."! Kelly screamed

I gave her a ' did you seriously ask me that' look.

"Oh right, sorry" she smiled sheepishly.

Josh started laughing. "We'll if my girl isn't going then neither am I" he said

Putting his arm around my shoulders.

I smiled up at him. Josh had been my best friend even before kelly. He knew everything about me weather it was my favorite color or when I was feeling down.

"No" I said shaking my head " you go have fun, it's ok I'll be fine"

"I'm not going to leave you all by your self every one is going"

"Exactly why you should go, I hate Nick no way I'm going, pulse you can't let Kelly go on her own.

"Yeah," Kelly put in.

He sighed after a moment "fine but if you get to board or lonely just call and ill be right over ok"

I nodded just as Mr. Bring stepped in and started his lesson.

Finally, finally after a long day the bell rang. The sun high in the sky greeted me when I steeped out into the sunlight. I was halfway to my car when I realized I had forgotten my homework.

Just as I reached the doors a smell that was beyond good filled my noes.

But the door had already closed behind me cutting me off from the source. Shrugging my shoulders and thinking it was a new kind of cologne I hurried to my locker.

I know this one and the first chapter were really short but there going to get longer this is just for like an introduction kid of thing.
