(Nicks pov)

I watched Heidi dance with all the children. The sun was just starting to set and she seemed to glow.

She smiled at me and waved me over. She sat in a circle with kids.

They started playing duck duck goose and it made me laugh.

We then headed to where the grown ups were. I had made sure to tell every one that she was human and not to mention wolfs. They agreed not wanting to scare of there Luna so soon.

"I'm so full" she said patting her belly.

She had just eaten as much as a real wolf would.

"I'll be right back"

"Don't be to long" I said kissing her forehead.

She skipped away into the house.

A few minutes later she came back with tears running down her face.

"Heidi what's going on" I asked illy concerned.

"Am I just a toy thing you can play with, a second choice a rebound" she asked

"What"

"You go around kissing other girls then you come to me"

"What, no of course not where would you hear something like that"

"So your going to play it dumb, god and to think I was-

"Heidi what's going on" i tried to grab her hand but she pulled away.

She stormed off tears rolling down her face not giving me a second glance.

"Heidi wait" I began to run after he but cole caught me "let her cool it off Lisa is taking her home."

"No I have to fix this, I don't even know what's wrong"

I ripped my arm from him and ran after her but she was already gone."

(Heidi pov)

"Ill be right back" I told him"

"Don't be to long" he said kissing my forehead.

I walked away feeling extremely happy.

I finished going to the bathroom and was on my way back when I overheard Lexi.

"Can you believe Nick"

"What did he do" I girl I didn't know asked.

"I just feel so bad for that Heidi girl" Lexi said. I tried to listen better moving closer

"Why"

" ok so you know how we've been gone all week well lets just say we got it on"

"What"the girl shrieked

"Yeah, I know how to make his buddy happy" she smirked.

"So what does that have to do with Heidi"

"He has a night stander with me then goes to her when I told him I couldn't do it anymore."

I let out a sob and they both turned to me.

"Heidi" Lexi said surprised.

"Is it true" I asked

"Why would I lie, I'm so sorry you had to hear it from me."

I broke down and ran out. I saw Nick get up

Heidi what's going on" He asked concerned.

"Am I just a toy thing you can play with, a second choice a rebound" I asked not wanting to hear if it was true

"What"

"You go around kissing other girls then you come to me"

"What, no of course not where would you hear something like that" he said

"So your going to play it dumb, god and to think I was-

"Heidi what's going on" he tried to grab my hand but I ripped it from his grasp

"Heidi wait" he called after me as I turned away. " I would never do anything to hurt you, please" he yelled

I ran as fast as I could.

"Lisa take me home now please" I said when I found her. She didn't ask questions which I was thankful for

She took me to a red convertible.

She drove us away and I could see Nick looking around for me.

I kept on crying and crying. Then I stopped. Yes my heart was broken. I didn't think I wanted to live. But I wouldn't let him have the sensation of me crying over him.

"Are you going to be ok" Lisa asked

"Yes I just need to be alone, you can go on back thank you"

"I can stay with you"

"No it's ok, I just need to be alone"

"Ok" she said as if she knew what I ment.

"What ever he did, I know he didn't mean it, he loves you" she whispered before driving away.

I wanted to believe her but I didn't know if I could.

I pulled my keys from my bag and opened the door.

Something didn't seem right it seemed off.

The lights were all off. Even though that was normal there was a broken lamp on the floor.

"Dad" I called out.

I walked around the corner to the kitchen.

I stopped and let out a loud gasp putting my hand over my mouth as tears came to my eyes all over again.

And stared at the lifeless body in from of me
