in my arms again or not...

Nicks Pov

Heidi was lying on a mattress with a naked guy on top of her. he had his hands grabbing hers over her head. he was kissing her neck.

my wolf didn't hesitate a second longer.

I ran full speed toward the man. I jumped and caught him by the shoulder bringing him off of Heidi and into the floor.

he now had a decent chunk of skin missing. he growled at me then cried out in pain. he grabbed Heidi by the hair and brought her next to him.

Heidi didn't have a shirt on or a bra just flimsy underwear.

the guy licked the side of her face as Heidi continued to cry. I was ready to tear him apart but he had Heidi by the neck I knew with just one twist he could snap her neck.

"let go of my mate" my voice boomed.

the guys smirked and began touching Heidi in ways no one should ever touch her but me.

Heidi cried harder begging him to stop.

I watched as he ran his hand over her breasts.

he got distracted with her for a second.

I took the chance and lunged at him. he fell back words letting go of Heidi.

my wolf bit into him making his face unrecognizable. and I didn't stop him

I bit and ripped at his filthy hands that had touched Heidi. the only thing that stopped me from tearing his head completely off was that I herd my mate calling for me.

I shifted and put on a pair of shorts that were on the ground.

I ran to Heidi and held her in my arms.

"shhh it's all going to be ok now. I promise"

I rocked us back and forth., "I'm here it's all over."

she cried into my chest and held onto me like I was her life line. her bare chest against mine did distract me but I pushed the thoughts away and only thought about my mate and trying to comfort her.

"Nick" Cole called out.

he looked at the seen then his eyes landed on Heidi.

I instantly growled. he took off his shirt and thew it at me.

I gently pulled away from Heidi and quickly tugged the shirt on her.

she had stopped crying but she was still holding on to me.

I picked her up bridle style and followed Cole.

as j looked around I saw almost all the rogue wolf's dead.

once outside of the cave I shifted once again and had Cole put her on my back.

I raced to the pack house.

in no time I had reached the house I raced up the stairs still in wolf form

once in my room I shifted and carried Heidi to me bed.  I kissed the top of her head then went into my closet and pulled on  pair of shorts.

I ran  warm bath for Heidi then carried her to it.

just as I was about to leave so she could change and get in she stopped me.

Heidi's P.O.V

"wait, please stay with me."  I asked him.

I was scared for a second he wouldn't want to.

he looked at me surprised but then smiled and nodded.

he turned the other way and let me stop down.

I stepped info the warm bath. I let out a content sigh.

Nick came and sat at the end of the tub keeping a little distant.

was it because he was disgusted by me. that another man had touched me or that I was really filthy.

I frowned and dipped my head under water.

Nick looked at me again as if thinking something over.

he finally got up. he went out side making my heart drop. he then placed a over sized t shirt and a towel by me.

he left with out another word.

I didn't even notice I had began go cry he left again.

when I imagined being saved I thought I would be inseparable from Nick that he would want me right next go him. but I was wrong. he didn't even want me near him
