Mate

Mondays were always the worst days. But something made me get up early. I had a feeling today would be a good day.

I had officially been alpha for two days now and 18 at the same time.

It felt good. I felt more powerful.

I ran to my car and got in turning on the engine and heading to school.

Cole, Lucas, Dylan, and their mates were waiting for me. (Dylan doesn't have a mate yet).

We all walked inside and as soon as I did my wolf was going crazy. She was here my mate. I already knew. I looked around franticly. The heavenly smell was coming from further down the hall. I followed it but stayed at a distance even though I wanted to plow right into her. I stopped when I realized who it was.

Her body stiffened. Then slowly she turned around. her dark brown eyes melted into mine and it was just me and her. It didn't matter that I use to hate her all I knew now was how much I wanted her in my arms. My wolf stirred like crazy wanting my to run and make her ours.

Then all two quickly it ended. She looked confused then shook her head as if to clear it. She looked back at me and gave me a filthy look. Then she walked away.

Braking and taking a piece of my heart with her. My wolf cried out at the sight of out mate turning away from us. But it didn't just hurt him it hurt me to. I was determined. I wasn't going to give up. I'd make her love me no matter what....

"Nick what's going on" Lucas asked

''Nothing" I muttered.

But Lisa gave me a knowing look. Like she knew that I had found my mate. She winked and then pulled cole away with her. Lucas headed off with Dylan and Sara.

I just stood there in the hall again. I felt alone and I knew the only way to really be happy and full was to have our mate by our side. I needed Heidi to me mine.

(Heidi pov)

My body was on over drive all of a sudden. My body stiffened as I spelt the same smell from yesterday.

Something in my head was telling me to turn around to look at something. then slowly I did. And I met my eyes with Nicks. It was a staring contest. I felt warm and happy. His green eye shined with so much emotion his hair falling into his eyes. I had the sudden urge to run to him and kiss him. 'Wait what, I hated him. Where was this all coming from'

I scrunched my face in confusion then shook my head to clear it. I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster. Seeing the hurt on his face when I did almost had me going to him to comfort him. But I turned my back to him.

That was probably the hardest thing I ever did because I felt like my insides were ripping apart as I walked away from him.

Every one filed into the jam packed gym. We were having an assembly for the end of our first semester. Which meant half way done with school. We were also getting a new schedule today.

"Good morning students" our principle Mrs. Runs said into the microphone.

I spaced out because I kept feeling someone staring at me. Finally I turned to see who it was. And was met once again with the most beautiful green eyes. Which happened to be Nick's.

I turned back around before my mind went crazy and started saying how sexy and fit he was. 'Get these things out of your head what is wrong with you. I scowled my self.

I could still feel his eyes on the back of my head the whole assembly. Even after they dismissed us to pick up the new schedule.

After I got mine I met up with Kelly and Josh.

2-math

3-theater arts

4-science

5-free period

6-world history

Kelly and I ended up with theater arts, free period and English. While Josh and I got math and free period.

Since the assembly was as soon as we got here we had to go to our 2nd hour.

I walked with Josh and sat in the back like always.

The teacher was a short plump lady who looked to be in her late 40s.

"I'm Mrs. Ins, it's nice to see fresh faces" she smiled

I zoned out again. She was only reviewing what we learned last semester.

The bell rang for our next class. This one I had with Kelly.

I hurried to her locker and together we walked to theater arts.

A nice skinny looking lady stood in the front of the class.

"I'm mrs. Heart, welcome" she paused 'I hope we have a good rest of the year, now first lets start off with a little improve."

A boy in the front raised his hand.

"Yes?" Mrs. Heart asked.

"What's improve"

She smiled at him" we'll dear improve is when I give you a scene and you go along with it making up characters and lines."

He nodded.

"Why don't you try first" she asked him.

He shrugged and waked up to the giant stage in front of us.

"Your scene is your a captain on a boat while there's a horrible storm." She said clapping once.

The boy stood there for a second before closing one eye and hobbling on one leg. He began yelling things out as if he was commanding his sailors to help steady the boat

Everyone went up once. On my turn I had to be a werewolf that danced when ever she herd the word cheese.

I ended up cracking up when I was done at my stupid dance moves.

Finding the science room was hard. I ended up being three minutes late.

As I barged into the room the teacher an old mad probably in his fifties with a bold head and a tire in the front yelled at me for being so late

After I apologized I realized that there was only one empty seat. Half of me groaned the other half was happy and exited by who was sitting next to the empty seat.
