Confess

(Nick pov)

I held Heidi closely to my body. Loving the feeling of her pressed against me.

My heart was broken at the same time. I hated to see her crying.

"What's wrong baby"

She looked up at me when I called her that. It just slipped but that wasn't the problem at the moment.

"He..he tr...tried to t...ttake me." She stuttered.

"What" I asked outraged. Who would dare to even try to take my beautiful mate.

"I don't know" she said not moving away from me. My wolf found this delightful.

'Maybe she doesn't hate us that much' he said

I smiled to myself hoping that was true.

I wiped some of the tears away from her delicate face with my finger.

"It's ok come on tell me ever thing that happened."

She nodded and opened the door to her house.

It had a nice homey feel to it. The walls were a light red with wides floors.

I knew her family wasn't home though. Her only family was her father who was almost never home.

Heidi walked us to the living room that had black furniture and white walls.

I sat down and I noticed how she sat really close to me by choice.

"Start from the beging." I told her.

She had stopped crying now which I was thankful for I hated to see my mate cry. It made me want to cry too. I know that was cheese but I couldn't help it.

"I was walking home from school" she began " and it was kinda creepy, then there was a snap and then some guy came out in only pants, then he grabbed me the said something like 'Luna'not something, I kicked him in the groin and elbowed him."

I couldn't help but smile at that even though I was raving. The instant she said thy the man said luma I knew that it was a rogue. They knew she was my mate and were trying to take her from me.

There was no way that would happen. I was going to keep her by my side at all times from now on.

"The I began to run away and then I ran into - into you.. "She finished confused.

"Why are you here" she asked

"Oh Lisa told me to come pick you up, she couldn't make it"

"Then ware did the man go"

"Probably go scared and ran off."

She nodded. Then a single tear fell down her face again. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. She didn't protest just wiggled around in till she got comfortable.

That got my buddy down there's attention. 'Stop it not the time to get a hard on' I told my self.

I put my hands around her waist. She laid her head on my chest.

"I'm sorry" she whispered.

"There's nothing to be sorry about."

"Yes there is I've been a complete bitch to you and all you've done is be nice to me and its diving me crazy that I don't know why."

She gasped and put her hand over her mouth about the last part.

I gave her a little smile. "Because I suddenly realized just how amazing you are" I said

She blushed and buried her head in my chest again.

"Why do i feel this way" I herd her mutter.

What did she mean by that? I shrugged it off and hugged her tighter to me not wanting to ever let her go.

(Heidi's pov)

Sitting on Nicks lap gave me a sensation of happiness. I lived the way he held on to me as if he wasn't going to let me go.

I was still freaked out about that guy chasing me and almost kidnapping me. What did he want with me was he going to rap and kill me or sell me off to some pervert?

I sighed which only made Nick him me tighter.

"Can't breath Nick" I said.

He lessened his grip on me but didn't let go. "Sorry" he said under his breath.

"Hey I should get ready."

"For what" he asked confused

"Are you going out with some one, is it that boy from the cafeteria" he looked mad maybe.....even jealous?

"No you dumb-

"Don't even finish that" he growled at me.

I rolled my eyes and got off his lap. Wow just a few minutes and we were already fighting.

"No I'm not"

He looked at me then it seemed to click in his mind. The whole reason her was even here.

"Im...I'm sorry" he stuttered. I laughed

I turned and started to walk up the stairs.

"Weird"I said to my self.

I could hear Nick say some thing that sounded like "mine"

Second time today hmmmm.... What was that about.

In my room I stripped down to my underwear and bra.

I pulled dress after dress out. I finally settled for a red skin tight dress that fitted like a second skin. It came just over my ass and was strapless. It had a band of diamond across the waist that made it look like a belt.

I paired it with black heels. I curled my hair then put on makeup since I hadn't had any on before.

I inspected my self happy with the result. It only took me an hour to. Hopefully Nick wasn't bored out of his mimd.

I walked down the steps of the stairs. Nick was watching tv with a bag of popcorn he his hand.

His head turned to me when I walked in as if he knew I was coming.

His mouth dropped open making bits of popcorn fall out. I giggled at that.

"Close your mouth hunny, your going to swallow the ocean." I said sweetly and patted his chin.

He snapped it closed and looked up at me. He had so much emotion in his eyes.

''You look beautiful" he said standing up.

"Thank you" I said a little shyly.

He stared at me for another second then held out his hand.

"Shall we go"

"Of course"

And together we walked to his mustang.
