Jungkook - That Rainy Day

"Shit." you cursed as you realised it was raining cats and dogs. Rummaging through your bag, you confirmed the fact that you did not bring an umbrella out. "Whatever." you muttered, walking out of the shelter, ready to be drenched.

Reaching a traffic junction, you stood under the tree while waiting for the traffic light to turn green. You took out your handkerchief and tried wiping yourself dry to the best of your ability.

A deep yet gentle voice spoke, "wanna share the umbrella?"

You looked up in surprise as you found a guy with big innocent like eyes and chubby cheeks holding an umbrella above the both of you. "Y-Yeah, thank y-you." you stammered, smiling at him as he returned you a warm smile. This was your first time sharing an umbrella with a stranger, furthermore, a guy. Your heart was pumping so quickly that you were concerned that he might heard it.

"So.. do you hate rainy days?" he asked, breaking the silence.

"Actually.. N-No, it's cooling and well, r-relaxing. But it's kinda troublesome if a umbrella is not with me, haha" you replied, looking into his eyes for the second time. His eyes were so big and googly, making you wondered what stories you could interpret from it if you stared longer.

"True.. What's your name?" the boy questioned as both of you stopped in your tracks - reaching another traffic junction.

"Rahye, Choi Rahye. How about you?" you replied, showing him your dimples as you smiled.

"Jeon Jungkook, nice to meet you." he said, offering his hand for a handshake. You shook his hand and looked away shyly.

"Which direction are you going?" Jungkook asked.

"Hmm.. that side." you said, pointing to the right.

"Alright, I will walk you to the shelter, is that okay?" he asked in consideration. You nodded your head as a reply.

When both of you reached the shelter, he made sure to close the umbrella properly before passing it to you. "Huh? What about you?" you asked.

"It's okay, it's better than letting a pretty girl like you to be drenched." he praised, causing your cheeks to flare up.

"O-Okay then, thank you so much. Have a safe trip home." you smiled and bowed a little. You turned and walked your way back when you thought about how you could return the umbrella to him. You sprinted back as fast as you could, "Jungkook-ssi!" you called.

He turned around and smiled, it was so cute. "Do you want my number? I-I mean.. you can tell me when you're free so I can returned you your umbrella." you explained, rubbing the nape of your neck.

"Sure, I will give you mine as well." Jungkook replied, exchanging both your phones.

"See you next time I guess, Rahye-ssi?" he chuckled. You nodded and waved goodbye to him. The way home was full of smiles and your tummy felt weird like something was flying inside it. You couldn't stop thinking about Jungkook and how he had praised you.

Finally, you've reached home. You went into your room right away and dived into your comfortable bed. Taking your phone out, you searched for the letter 'J' in your contact list and to your surprise, there was actually an image next to his name. You sat up straight as if lightning had just strike you. Clicking on the image, the image was increased in size and it was certainly his own picture.

"Oh my god.." you muttered under your breath in disbelief. Staring at the image for only god knows how long, you felt that weird feeling in your stomach once again. Perhaps.. is this love at first sight ? You were clueless but you knew that you couldn't wait to see him again.. Jeon Jungkook .
