Jungkook - Truth or Dare?

Jungkook was my first friend in high school. I got to know his circle of good friends and they welcomed me with open arms which was really kind of them. Not only that, they were humorous.

"Haelyn! Here!" I turned my head to see Hoseok waving excitedly in my direction with a wide grin. He is the most cheerful person I have ever met, always so bright. As I get to know him better, I realised we have many similarities and I guess that's why we have gotten close so quickly.

I walked over to the gang and smiled warmly at them. "Hey guys." I glanced at Jungkook for a brief moment to notice him already staring. I blushed before looking away to look for someone. "Where's Jisoo?"

Jisoo was my other friend, besides these guys. We share the same History class and I am glad to say the boys treated her as one too.

The boys shrugged before Taehyung hollered, "There she is!" his index finger pointed to his right. Our heads turned at the same time to watch Jisoo struggling to carry a big heavy basket. "This girl.." Taehyung sighed before running towards her to help her with it.

The other guys and I shared a knowing look, smirking as we watched them. We have placed a bet behind their back on when they are getting together.

Suggested by Jisoo, we are going to have a picnic at Han River today. The guys disagreed at first, saying how boring and old fashioned we two girls are, until we said that there will be games.

"Come on guys, let's go." Seokjin said, leading the way.

It was a 45 minutes journey and most of us fell asleep in the coach bus. Yeah, we were too poor to call cabs and too young to drive.

"And we are here!!" Hoseok cheered, jumping around.

"It's beautiful.." I whispered, looking at the scenery before us without noticing Jungkook was by my side.

"Indeed." He said aloud. Surprised, I turned to see him staring at me.

My heart palpitated 200 miles per second and as impossible as it sound, my heart was beating so fast my stomach felt all warm and fuzzy.

I looked and turned away before he could catch me blushing away. "Y-Yeah, I know right?" I mentally slapped myself for stuttering. He chuckled to himself, finally looking away.

This reminded me of our first meeting and the corner of my lips tilted upwards by themselves. "Hey lovey dovey couple over there, let's go find a spot now." Namjoon called out.

"Be careful not to trip, princess." Jungkook leaned in and whispered with a smirk before walking off. I shuddered at the nickname he called me.

I don't know where to start and how all these happened. I don't know if he could sense it, but I could feel this tension between us. I would catch myself staring at him, and vice versa. Everytime our skin touches, there will be sparks.

I think I like him.. and I'm having feelings for him without myself knowing.

So what if I really have feelings for him? Maybe he don't even feel the same way. Maybe all these are nothing special to him. Maybe he does this to other girls too.

Maybe I'm not that special.

"I think Jungkook likes you though, I can see from the way he look at you."

I suddenly remembered Yoongi's words. Our Math teacher wasn't in school that day and we could do whatever we wanted. We spoke about Taehyung and Jisoo when he mentioned that Jungkook and I seemed to like each other. I denied, saying how we were both just friends.

I knew I was lying because I died a little inside at the term 'friends '.

Jisoo and I laid out all the food on the mat while the guys prepared the games. "So, which game do y'all wanna play?" Jimin clasped his hands together, smirking. "Twister? Jenga? Truth or Dare?"
