Seokjin

Holding hands as we walked in the park, it was late at night. No one else was there except us. "What shall we do now?" Gayeon asked, smiling.

"Hmm.. Let's go there!" I suggested as the playground was just few metres away from us.

"Seokjin, we are alre- hey!" before she could even start complaining about our age, I dragged her towards the playground.

"The sky is so beautiful.." Gayeon commented. We were sitting on the swing, enjoying the night breeze.

"Just like you." I smirked.

She looked at me amused and chuckled. Little did I know I was chuckling as well, her laughter is sure contagious.

Looking up, the sky was filled with shining stars and a crescent moon. It was unusual as the sky would be just empty and dark with a moon most of the time. The atmosphere was romantic as the only light source was the lamp post.

"You know.. I remember meeting you for the first time in the boy's toilet and then realising we were gonna be in the same class, it was the most embarrassing day ever!" Gayeon exclaimed excitedly as she thought about the past.

Our awkward first meeting was back into my mind and I laughed out loud, earning a hard smack on my shoulder. "Yah, I'm older than you!" I complained.

"Yeah, just A DAY older." she said, sticking out her tongue.

It was so coincident how our birthdays were only a day apart but I'm always the one getting 'bullied'.

"I still remember you calling me byuntae instead of my name and I hated you so much, you were such an annoying kid." She rolled her eyes as she said that. I continued swinging, chuckling at our childish moments together.

"I'm not a byuntae okay, I just entered the wrong toilet since it was the first day in school." Gayeon convinced, looking at me seriously.

I stopped swinging and knocked her head, "Arrasso, how many times do you want to repeat that, babe?" I asked her as I ruffled her hair. Her laughter filled the place, knowing how she can't have a serious face for long.

Silence enveloped us, a comfortable one. My mind started to reminisce about the good old time we had - how I always teased her and she would ended up crying, how we started getting along, how I started being the one protecting her instead of making her cry and lastly, falling madly in love with her. After all, it has been 8 years and we are in university now.

"But, it was also my luckiest day," Gayeon broke the silence. She stopped my swing from swinging and leaned closer to me. "To meet this once annoying kid whom I love so much now." she continued, pecking on my cheek quickly.

I could see the slight shade of pink as she blushed, looking at her feet to avoid my eyes after saying such cheesy thing. I smiled to myself, what have I done to deserve her, such a beautiful girlfriend - not only outside but inside as well.

I got up and crouched infront of her. "I'm glad I met you too babe, I'm about to die from happiness." I confessed.

"About to?" she questioned, tilting her head slightly to the side.

"Yes, that will really happen when I'm holding your hand, putting a silver ring on for you." I told her, smiling before kissing her on her lips.
