Chapter 4

Jace's POV

Once we walked into the institute I can finally relax and spend some time with Clary alone in our room. And yes I said our room, after realizing that Clary was spending most of her time here anyways Clary's mom finally agreed to let her live at the institute with us. But she was very hesitant because she didn't want Clary and I to share a room but after Clary and I sleeping in different rooms for 3 months Maryse agreed to let us sleep in the same room as long as we asked Jocelyn first. Which I of course made Clary do because knowing Jocelyn, Luke would be there and well Luke would have probably killed me right on the spot. So long story short Jocelyn trusted us enough to let us sleep in the same room and the same bed.

"Clary come on hurry up!" I said while running up the stairs.

"Hey I'm short I can't take three steps at a time" I heard Clary yell as I was walking into our room and going to lay down on the bed.

And once I get in the bed I close my eyes and then suddenly I hear the sound of the door being closed and then someone coming and snuggling up next to me. So I took advantage of this moment and pull her on top of me.

"Hey I was cozy!" Clary said while she pouted.

"Well now we are both going to be cozy silly" I said while I gave her a kiss in the forehead.

"Fine but as long as we are alone I want a little more than a kiss on my head!" As Clary said this she sat up and kissed me.

We'll let me tell you something I love being alone with my girlfriend because she is more comfortable with me and more confident when she is only around me. But of course it was too good to last long, before we knew it Izzy was standing in our door way telling us that we are going to the pandemonium club to hunt some demons.

"Okay Isabelle I guess we should go get ready" Clary said as she got up and left me and well I guess that was my hint to start getting ready myself. So when I was ready I went and grabbed some food and ate with Alec as we waited for the girls to be ready.
