Clary's POV
Three weeks later...

Jace and I had told my mom about us getting married and well she of course protested that we were too young and then started ranting about how she gets phone calls from the school telling her that I haven't been at school for a few weeks.
"Jace what do you think about going to school today?" I asked .
"If it's what you want to do then sure why not" Jace said nonchalantly.
With that Jace and I left for school. When we arrived the principle had a talk with Jace and I about the time we have missed and that we would have to make it up by doing extra work in all our classes. Meaning the next month or so was going to be long.
"OMG Jace is that really you! I thought you had died or something!" Olivia said with that really annoying squeaky voice of hers.
"Yeah Clary and I were a little caught up on celebrating our engagement" Jace said as if it was no big deal.
"WAIT SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MARRY THAT!" Olivia exclaimed.
