Chapter 10

Jace's POV

I had to tell Clary what Holly had said to me. But I just didn't know how to tell her.

Earlier that day...

Holly had run up to Clary and I as soon as we walked into the door and hugged me way too tightly, for way too long. But while she hugged me she whispered something to me.

"Jace don't worry, your girlfriend doesn't have to know what we do when she's not around. It can be our little secret"

So how do I tell Clary that this girl that I thought was harmless, was trying to get me to cheat on her. By the angles she's going to kill me-- wait no not me she'll kill Holly! Shit what have I gotten myself into.

"Clary?" I said.

"Yeah?" Clary said sounding a little curious.

"There's something that I have to tell you" I said as I say down on the bed.

"Oh kay" Clary said hesitantly while walking towards the bed and sat down.

"So uhm... Holly is kind of trying to get me to cheat on you with her." I said while I moved away slightly so she couldn't hit me.

"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!" Clary yelled.

"No I'm not" I said with a kind of apologetic tone.

"Oh Jace baby I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at the fact that she would even think that you would consider doing something like that" Clary said as she moved closer to me.

"Okay as long as your not mad at me"
I said as I pulled her into my lap.

"You know I can't be mad at you, it's to hard" Clary said while pressing our foreheads together.

After that we just sat there for a while with each other. And well things escalated pretty quickly when we started to kiss. And I guess that at some point Holly had thought that we were going to actually go and do something just her and I. We heard a knock on the door before someone opened it. And of course she was standing in the doorway wearing something way to revealing and slutty for my taste.

"Uhm sorry to interrupt you, but Jace I thought we were going to go out and get dinner?" Holly asked with a hint of a flirtatious tone.

"Oh uhm sorry Holly but Clary and I kind of just got carried away" I said winking at Clary.

"Oh that's fine, just get ready and I'll meet you down stairs for our reunion/catch up date" Holly said.

And that made Clary lose it. She ran up to Holly and slapped her.

"Sorry sweetheart but he's already taken!" Clary said glaring at Holly.

Then of course Holly had to actually start to fight Clary. Meaning I was going to have to pull Clary off of her.

"Clary stop it this is crazy! You know I would never leave you your the one I love!" I yelled.

Then I saw Clary pull away and come running to me. It kind of looked like she was crying. I just held her against me and stroked her hair. And I looked at Holly who seemed to have this look as if she was heart broken in her eyes.
I just glared at her, and thinking that she got the idea seen as how she ran out of mine and Clary's room. That's when I pulled Clary's chin up to meet my face. I had been right she had been crying. All I did was kiss her lightly on the lips.

"You have to trust me okay I will never ever leave you okay. The only way your getting rid of me is if you tell me to leave." I said while holding her chin up to look at me and look into her eyes.

"Well then I guess I'm stuck with you huh" Clary said with a little smirk.

"Hey Jace I'm ready to fix Clary up now so bring her here please" Izzy yelled.

So before Clary could answer I picked her up and took her to Izzy.

"You are getting ready and we are going out to dinner with Holly together" I said as I left the room.
