Billionaire and Secretary

Chapter 2

Hey guys - this is the second chapter to my story! Enjoy... :D

For the next several days, I didn't do anything. It was the most relaxing days for me in the entire year. When I joined the company with Mr. Adams, there didn't give paid vacation for me, so I never really took a leave.

Now, I was getting bored that I have my head upside down and hanging from my bed. I have my computer on the ground to look for jobs that I can apply to. There were several websites and positions that I can apply to, so I submit my resume hoping they will call me in for an interview.

The job required for a secretary that can take down notes in conferences, and manage all the times, places and dates of the boss's schedule. It also required for the secretary to file all the papers in alphabetical order. This job shouldn't be hard to do. I submit my resume and CV hoping that they will look at it.

The next morning around 10 AM or so, I got a call from a number i didn't know. Usually I don't pick up these calls but since I just applied to jobs, I take it thinking hopefully it is one of them.

I come around the kitchen to retrieve my phone and answer it, "Hello, this Julianne."

The person on the other side starts to speak, "Hi Julianne. This is Morgan from Gallant Companies. We have reviewed your resume and selected you as a potential candidate for this position. Would like to be interviewed?"

I was literally shocked. I mean it was only yesterday when I applied, I didn't know they were so fast in responding to people. I clear my throat and answer, "Yes. That would be lovely."

Morgan answers, "That's great! You interview would be tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Is this time good for you?"

8:00 AM tomorrow morning... Do i want to sleep or go to this interview? Hmmm... I think I'll go because I have nothing better to do, so I reply, "Yes, that would be great."

Morgan answers, "Good. I will see you tomorrow Julianne. Looking forward to meeting you. Bye."

After I get off the phone, I set my alarm at 6:00 to have enough time to get up and get ready. I skipped downstairs to play some games in my gameroom. However, when I entered the living room, my parents were already home.

Hmmm.... Must be a short day.

"Hey mom and dad. What are you guys doing home early?" I asked them as I walked down the rest of the way.

They looked at me and smiled. "Oh hi sweety. We thought you wanted to go to lunch since you have been home for a few days."

"Ohh COOL! Let me go and change so we can go."

My parents nodded. I raced upstairs to get ready for lunch. I quickly showered and put on a pink sundress that I found in my closet. I took out gladiator sandals to go with the dress. I applied light makeup but kept it mostly natural.

When I reached downstairs, I almost yelled, "I'm ready!"

My father looked up from the TV and my mom looked up from her book she was reading. My dad turned of the TV and look the keys to his favorite car. It was a beauty, a Rolls Royce car. A truly stunning car.

My father sat in the driver's seat, while my mother sat in the passenger seat. I was left to sit in the back by self. During the ride, I told my parents, "I got a call from one of the companies asking me for an interview."

They smiled brightly at me, "That's great Honey. What time is it tomorrow?"

"It's at 8:00 AM tomorrow."
