Chapter 12

Jayden's POV -

I was really enjoying spending my day with Julie and her parents. I had fun making pasta with her and finding some key things about her. I really surprised when my mom called me telling me to come home.

She usually never calls me to come home unless it is urgent. She knows that I work hard and don't really have time to come home. Mainly, I don't like to come home anyway. It's always such a drag. Dad never talks because mom never gives him a chance to say what he is actually thinking.

I liked my childhood. Even without my parents, my day and night were mostly filled with Ju Ju. She would keep me company and I wouldn't really know what was going on at home. I didn't really pay attention. You all might think that I am crazy, but you can tell that she literally was my entire life at that point. I never found another person that found worthy to share my life with.

That was until Julie came along. She was great. She listened to everything with optimism and light. She gave me hope for the future. She also reminded me about Ju Ju which is why I think that I accepted her dinner invitation. I was over the moon when i recollected my memory of her. I was glad that my brain still remembered her house, parents and everything about her.

When she dropped me off a little bit away from my house, I could tell that she was somewhat disappointed. However, I could never introduce her to my mother, because she would just scare her off. I know how my mother is. I don't want my mother to get the wrong idea about her and I. I want us to be official before I introduce her to my parents. I want her to be more comfortable with me before I break her to the news of me being Jay Jay.

I can't wait to make her my girl and introduce her to my parents, so eventually we can get married, have kids and grow old together.

Not to sound too opportunistic!

Julianne's POV -

I know I shouldn't really be worried and disappointed that he asked me to drop me off a little bit farther away from his house, but i was. It hurt that he couldn't really trust me even after I took him into my house.

Ohh well... there is really nothing I can do until I earn his trust.

And you all can bet that I will work hard to achieve that. I am not really why I have this intense feeling towards him, but I do anyway. So I am going to work towards that.

The next couple of days passed by the same. I went to the office, scheduled meeting for Jayden, and did the usual business. Jayden was also talking to me, and I didn't really want to hold a grudge against him for such a silly thing, so we were talking while working. We were also very professional in the office, so no one really suspects anything.

We have a pretty chill day on Friday's because it's close to the weekend. Also, on fridays, I have half days because Jayden usually goes on business dinners with other people. If i am not needed then, I usually go home and relax. Today, my friend is coming over to my house because she wants to discuss some important material. She sounded excited over the phone but hasn't told what she was excited about.

There is one thing that you should be aware of about my friend. She is an intense matchmaker. She had sent me on dates with random strangers multiple times and none of those times were the times that I actually want to remember. I really hope that this time isn't because she found someone for me. I don't know what I would do if that was the reason she was coming here.

I came home and went to change into my comfortable clothes before coming downstairs and watching TV. I was just changing between the channels when the doorbell rang. I turned off the TV and went to open the door for her. However, I was really surprised when I opened the door.
