Jayden's POV -

Julianne joined the company several weeks ago. After she joined the company, everything has been running smoothly. I didn't have to make calls or do any of that stuff. I had to admit she was a really good worker. She does her job really well, and plans accordingly as well.

I am really glad that I hired her. My view has changed on her for the past few weeks. Gradually, I have come to like her more and more. I am always waiting for her to call me, even if it is talking about the company.

In the first few weeks, I asked Paula to show her around. I assumed that she didn't know anything because she barely worked. She was constantly on her phone or the company's phone. Her office was really messy, and she was barely organized.

Now when I go look in the same office, Julianne has organized everything into neat little folders. These folders are then stored alphabetically in the drawers. She can find anything in a matter of several seconds to minutes. She also has amazing memory power that she remembers where she kept most of the files.

My phone rang snapping me out of the trance. I answered it, "Hello, This is Jayden."

There was slight laughter on the other side, "Hey Jay. How are you?"

I instantly recognized the person: Julian.

Even though, he is 35, he is very lively and still talks to me every now and then. I love talking to him. He helps me out a lot in personal life and financial ways for the business. He is lively, smart and charming. He is now married with two kids: one daughter and one son. Their daughter is 7 and son is 4 years. Both of them have their mom and dad wrapped around their fingers. Every time I go to their house, the kids always enjoy my company. Sometimes, he brings them to the office too. Nowadays, he is slightly busy with all the internal problems.

I instantly liven up, "Hey man. How are you? How is your wife? Emily? and Joseph?"

He laughs on the other side before answering, "Good Jay. Bri is doing good. Emily and Jose are asking about you and when you are going to come and play with them."

I always loved those kids. They are easy to play and they listen. "Tell them I'll see them very soon. So why did you decide to call me on such a beautiful day?"

He chuckles, "Well Jay, I wanted to invite you to dinner. I wanted to discuss some matters with you before they are prominent."

"Alright. Are we the only two that are meeting?"

He replies, "No quite Jay. I want to invite Gary, Justin, Brandon, and Paul. We haven't seen them in a long time, and I think they might have some good ideas on the problem."

"Ok. I'll ask my secretary to come and take notes. She can also reserve the seats for the restaurant."

"Ok. Is this the Paula lady as your secretary because I think we can work without her."

I chuckle because no one else knows that I hired a different secretary. "No Julian. I fired Paula, and hired a new secretary. She does really well in her work."

There was a pause on the other side. I knew he had to think about the choices that I would make for secretary. "Hmm. Alright. Bring her, and we'll see how she is. If she is anything like Paula, then we aren't inviting her again."

I snort knowing that Julianne is way better than Paula anyday. "Cool. She'll be there then. She will also send out the invitation for the restaurant location and time to all five people including you."

"Wow. She must really be serious if you are actually giving work to her."

"Whatever man. So I'll meet you there?"
