Chapter 6

Lauren's POV

I wake up to the sound of almost silent snoring and Camila intertwined into my body. I've never seen her so comfortable but unfortunately I'm not. I try to slip out of Camila's grasp with no luck. I mentally curse in my head. Then I see Camila start to stir in her sleep, her gorgeous chocolate orbs staring into mine.

"Morning Camz." I say smiling.
"Morning lolo." She replies with just as big of smile as me.
"We have to tell the camp we completed the quest and that we are dating today." I say.
"Do we have to... I'd rather continue sleeping in your arms or watch a movie or something." Camila whines.
"Come on Camz, if we do this we can kiss in public and hold hands and stuff like that." I try persuading her.
"I get to kiss you?" She asks.
"Yes Camz you get to kiss me." I smirk.
"Okay then." She says and then leans in to connect our lips. Before I could argue her luxurious lips were in mine slowly but sweetly kissing me. Gods why did she have to be a daughter of Aphrodite. She's such a good kisser that I can't keep up. I break apart and Camila pouts.

"Did I do something wrong?" Camila asks.
"No you didn't do anything wrong, it's just you have morning breath and I didn't want that in my mouth thank-you very much." I say and she continues to pout.
"Well so do you and do you see me complaining." She says.
"No I don't." I say.
"So let's continue." She says and pulls me back into a kiss, more passionate than the last. She traps my bottom lip with hers and starts to suck on it. Gods the things she does to me. She runs her tongue along my bottom lip and I instantly part my lips granting access. But we are instantly pulled apart with a knock on the door. A voice coming outside of the door.

"Come on death breath time to get up." Says Dinah I think.
"I'm up just let me get ready." I say.
"You have fifteen minutes before we have to be at the arena." Dinah says.
"Yep don't worry I'll be there." I say.
"Ok and one more thing have you seen Mila I've been looking for her all morning." Dinah says.
"Well what do you think I've been in bed all morning so I don't think so sorry." I say sarcastically while lying as I see Camila in my lap blushing.
"Ok I'll see ya in fifteen." Dinah says.
"Yeah whatever." I say.

"Better get ready then." Camila says when Dinah leaves.
"Fine but we will continue this after." I say.
"Fine by me." Camila says winking and getting up making sure to show off her butt while walking.
"Tease." I say and she laughs. Gods that laugh though.

After me and Camz get ready we head out of my cabin making sure nobody see us together quite yet and head to the arena. Carefully walking around the cabins checking our every move to see if we were being watched and luckily we made it to the arena unseen.

"Chiron is going to want us to speak so we will say it at the end of it ok?" I ask.
"Fine by me and one more thing before we go our separate ways." Camz says.
"And what would that be?" I sarcastically ask.
And with that Camila reconnects our lips and until we run out of breath.
"I'm continuing that later." I say.
"Agreed." She says and walks off.

I walk into the audience waiting for the assembly to start.

"Hello everyone, today I have some great news." Chiron begins. " Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello are back from their first ever quest and are successful of saving the world. Camila would you like to talk abit about the quest?" Chiron asks.
"Yes Chiron but before I begin I would like to ask Lauren to come down here and share the glory." Camila says.

I walk down the stairs with people eyeing me with suspicious and frightened looks upon their faces.

"I would just like to say that I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Lauren, we may have had our differences before this but after the quest once we finally knew eachother we became friends." Camila says.
"Actually we became a bit more than just friends." I say.
"To be honest I don't really know how to say this but..." Camila starts and I finish with "me and Camila are dating as in girlfriends so don't judge us and respect our choices."
"This was part of the prophecy that we were given that we would fall in love like our parents." Camila says.
"But since they didn't get the opportunity to act on their love before it got banned by Zeus." I say.
"So Aphrodite set Camila up with me and we are happy and Zeus approves." Camila says.
"So there is nothing that you can do to make this not happen or work." I say. As soon as we are done with our speech Camila pulls me in for a kiss.

"What was that for?" I ask.
"To prove my undying love for you that I have and will always have, we may have our ups and downs but this will work and I want to prove it to you, not everything is good and evil." Camila says.
"You could of just said I love you." I say.
"I know but this way is more romantic, remember who my mother is." Camila says.
"I know Camz and say since we have the rest of the week off do you want to continue where we left off?" I ask.
"Come on Ms romantic lets go back to your cabin." Camila says and with that we go to my cabin to continue our little heated moment.
