Chapter 7

I wasn't appreciative of my new bunk with Lauren. Gramps put me there for a week to make up with her. She's just non stop with her hatred of me. I don't know what it is.

But after I was assigned on a mission with Ben and Chris to save men from a immense blizzard. She went ballistic on how I was incompetent to go any missions, reminding me that I'm the new girl.

But Gramps didn't care, it was my unbreakable skin and my strength is what is needed.

"I'll just have to keep warm some how" I laughed layering my sweaters and using Tony's coat and boots and walked out, Ben was wearing a light jacket and Chris looked like he could go naked.

When Chris looked at me he laughed. I rolled my eyes. "Let's go you weirdo"I laughed.

I was shivering my ass off while Chris was lugging a man over his shoulder. "Look next car" He said.

I whined and looked at Chris. "Oh be a man, Ben isn't here to warm to you up. If you want, I'll cool you down" He said pulling off my coat.

I shrieked, and pulled off the door and jumped inside for the man. He laughed really loudly above me. I passed him out to Chris as I shivered some more.

"Atta girl, all you need is motivation"he smirked.

"Guys guys, you gotta see this"  Ben came.

"I wanna go home" I whispered trudging.

"Chris you took off her coat?" Ben asked.

"She was being a wimp she has to learn" Chris snapped "Show us what you gotta show us."

We walked deeper into the storm and it became warmer, I had to lose the bundles of clothing as we walked closer and closer.

A small ball was probing around the middle while digging a hole. I saw toes and hands. Chris stopped and put his hand over his mouth. He immediately ran towards the orb ripping it apart.

"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck." Chris mumbled digging through the snow. Chris stopped when the woman's face was exposed and he put his head to the chest. He smiled and wiped his eyes a bit.

"Does he know her?"

"That's his evil girlfriend" Ben whispered to me.

"Carly isn't evil, she just chose the wrong path, she's breathing, so that's good" Chris snapped was stroking her face. It made me smile. "I thought you were dead."

"Man I didn't think Chris cared about anyone" I said.

"She's fluctuating temperatures she was left here to die, give me three of your jackets" He said.

"That's all I have" I groaned.

"Everything is about you? huh? You are going to let her freeze to death?" He played to my guilt. I grumbled under my breath as I handed him my jackets.

I went to pick up my jackets and I threw it at Chris. "I'll get hypothermia but no one cares about me?" I rolled my eyes.

"Jay I'm sorry but she's freezing and close to death. You'll probably be snuggling with Ben when we get the the dojo, understand the dying cold person" He said. I immediately stopped talking and picked up the other men and was ready to head home.

The blizzard immediately stopped as I stepped out. "Ok Chris we have to go now, you can admire her in the warm hideout." Ben rolled his eyes.

"Alright alright" Chris gave her to Ben who was already trying to warm her up.
