From within the village, a large ferocious beast howled into the darkened sky as it's large claws and tails destroyed the homes of Konohagakure. The power of the beast was so unimaginable as it continued it's rampage. The screams of civilians and shinobi was heard throughout the village as the terrifying beast began to form a large amount of chakra in its mouth before launching it to the Hokage monument.

A young couple watched in horror after returning from a mission to see the village under attack. With only a single thought running through their minds they quickly bolted to their homes to see if their daughter Sakura and the babysitter they had left to watch over here were alright. As they arrived they noticed their home was engulfed in flames and slowly their hope began to deteriorate.

"Sakura!" They yelled as they ran towards the house only for them to be pushed back by the large burning flames. They heard their daughters loud cries from within and began to find any way to save their daughter. "I am going to get Sakura." Kizashi stated as he walked to the door.

"Kizashi wait!" But his wife's pleas had failed as he ran into the home. Through the blazing fire Kizashi looked around for both Sakura and the babysitter Yuka, but to no avail. "Sakura!" He heard her wail coming from up stairs and quickly ran up.

He went I side her room to see the Yuka burned to a crisp and lying lifeless on the floor. "Oh kami.." Kizashi said and he looked in the baby crib to see Sakura perfectly fine as if the fire wasn't harming her, it's as if it was protecting her. A large yellow glow surrounded Sakura and Kizashi stared in awe before the house began to collapse.

Mebuki watched from outside with tears streaming down her face. "Please make it out in time.." she said and just as she wished Kizashi ran out from the house with Sakura in his arms. "Oh my baby." Mebuki yelled as she pulled her into her arms. Mebuki stared at her husband. "Where is Yuka?" Kizashi shook his head and Mebuki looked down at Sakura.

"How did she survive?" Mebuki wondered as she stared down at her beloved child as she nestled into her chest. "I don't know, but that does not matter as long as Sakura is alive."

Oh, but it did matter. That small shield surrounding Sakura would only be the beginning of a long journey and although she may be a baby, he story has now begun.
