Chapter 10: Sakura's New Beginning

Sakura POV

I heard my alarm clock start to go off from my beside table and I graoned. I hit the snooze button, but still it continued until I smashed it with my fist. "There goes my 3rd clock." I muttered tiredly and slipped out of my covers.

I took a quick shower and dressed in my new out. It was a simple red sleeveless shirt with my clan symbol, with black spandex underneath, a pink skirt over it and black knee high boots.

I placed my hair in a high ponytail and my headband. I went down to the kitchen and made some simple eggs and bacon. I'm not gonna listen to Kakashi-sensei about not eating, though Sasuke and Naruto probably listened to him.

Speaking of which I should make them something. After I ate my food, I grabbed the bentos that contained Naruto and Sasuke's food and went off towards the training grounds. The sun was still rising since it was bairly four in the morning.

Once I reached the training grounds I saw a half asleep Naruto and Sasuke was leaning on a tree. "Ohayo! Naru-kun, Sasu-kun!" Naruto jumped up and waved happily and Sasuke sent me a small wave.

"Hey Sakura-chan what's that?" He pointed towards the bentos I was carrying and I gave each one their bento. "Its breakfast for you guy's. You need to eat." Naruto started to freak out reminding me that Kakashi-sensei said not to eat.

"Naruto-kun without breakfast you won't have the strength to fight, he tricked you so you wouldn't be at your best. SO EAT THE FOOD OR I'LL MAKE YOU!" he coward in fear at my last statement and began to eat the ramen I made him.

"Thanks Sakura-chan." I nodded and look towards Sasuke to see him looking at his food. "How did you know Tomato rice balls were my favorite?" I placed my hand over my heart and had a face of hurt.

"Sasuke we are bestfriends since we were kids. I always saw how you ate these at lunch at the academy." He muttered a small thanks and began to eat.

I layed between Sasuke and Naruto as we waited for Kakashi-sensei to arrive. I was bairly able to keep my eyes open as we sat there. "Go to sleep Sakura. I'll wake you up when he gets here." I muttered a small thank you and layed my head on his shoulder before falling asleep.

Sasuke POV

Once Sakura fell asleep I gazed at her sleeping face. She looked so peaceful when she is sleeping and I couldn't help but smile. "Hey Teme. Why are you staring at Sakura-chan?" I blushed since Naruto saw me.

"S-shut it dobe and I wasn't staring at her." He chuckled and I glared. "Don't lie teme I've seen the way you look at her. If you like her tell her how you feel. But when you guys do, you better not hurt her she is like my sister." He stated seriously and I nodded.

"Wow Naruto I had-" a loud snoring interrupted me and I looked to see Naruto fast asleep.
"Idiot...I wouldn't ever want to hurt Sakura. I promise to always be by her side and to protect her.

Third POV

"Well hi there." Sakura looked up to see Kakashi standing in front of them.

"YOU'RE LATE!" Naruto yelled as loud as he could, Sakura's left eye twitched and Sasuke sighed at the blonde loudmouth.

"And you're still loud so I guess we're even." Kakashi replied nonchalantly, Naruto growled.

"Aren't you going to tell us where you were?" Naruto demanded.

Kakashi took a clock out of his bag and put it on the nearest tree stump. "Hmm let me see... no. Now if there are no more interruptions we can get started." Pushing down on the clock Kakashi turned around and faced his students.
