Sakura's eyes suddenly snapped open as she jumped up from her bed. She looked around to see if she could find Mia, but it was only her. Must have been a dream. Sakura got off her bed and went to her kitchen to get a glass of water, as she got there her shoulder began to burn. "What the.." Sakura went to her fridge and grabbed an ice cube and placed it into a rag before putting it onto her shoulder.
However, that only cause her pain to increase as she fell to the floor and hold her shoulder. "What's going on!" Sakura yelled before the pain began to subside and go away. Sakura quickly ran to the restroom and pulled her sleeve down. There on her shoulder, was a small pink cherry blossom that was now imprinted on her shoulder.
I'm sorry about the pain
Sakura looked around her and couldn't find who had said that. "Who's there?" She yelled as she pulled her sleeve up and left her restroom.
It's me Sakura. Mia.
Mia? How are you communicating with me if you're not here.
The mark on your shoulder connects us now Sakura as long as I'm alive we will always be connected both telepathically and physically.
That's so cool!
Sakura gasped in awe of her new ability. Mia sensei we have to leave today don't we.
Yes I'm sorry Sakura, would you like to go say goodbye to your friends?
I couldn't handle seeing them. I'll just write them each a letter. And before we go we must speak to the Hokage.
Alright.
Sakura looked down in sadness realizing she would have to leave her friends and her home for a long time.

Hiruzen sighed in exhaustion as he finally finished the paper work he was given two days ago. "I am getting to old for this." He muttered before a soft knock came from his door. "Enter!" He saw Sakura come in with a small smile on her face with a woman trailing behind her. "May I help you Sakura?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow at the mysterious woman.
As the Hokage he new everyone that was in the village and never once had he ever seen this woman. "Who is this woman Sakura?" He asked as he held his guard up. "That's what I can to talk to you about."
"Mia-sensei?" The young blonde came over to Hiruzen and held out her hand. "May I?" Hiruzen nodded before she placed her hand onto his forehead and replayed everything she had shown Sakura. As he came back his eyes widened in shock as he looked at Sakura.
"Incredible. So everything you've show me. You are an ancestor of the original Haruno clan after the massacre and you are not alive, but you are a part of Sakura." Mia nodded her head while Hiruzen rubbed his forehead. "I may be Hokage, but my heart can only take in so much." He chuckled before he waved Sakura to come forward.
"Very well Sakura, I will give you permission to leave with Mia and to him on your journey for a three year term. However, if you are not back by that point I will send ANBU after you. Understood?" Sakura nodded as she bowed in respect. "Thank you Hokage-sama."
As the two Haruno's left the room Sakura suddenly grew nervous. "What's wrong Sakura?" Sakura looked down. Before I left I already sent a few clones to deliver the letters to my friends. "I'm just worried about their reactions." Sakura admitted as she fiddled with her fingers like Hinata would do.
"Don't worry Sakura for now we must focus on getting you ready." With that they soon arrived to Sakura's home and packed all the necessities she would need. As the sun began to set they began to walk towards the gate. With one last look Sakura gave a smile. "I'll miss you all. I will come back I promise." With that Sakura began her adventure with her sensei by her side.

Sasuke panted in exhaustion as he ran towards Sakura's house after reading the letter her found in his room. He felt both betrayed and sad when he read the letter and not fully explaining as to why she left. Take care of them for me Sasuke. Make sure to become the strong ninja I see you as.
Sasuke noticed up ahead to see Naruto and Hinata both sitting at the staircase of Sakura's home with tears falling down their cheeks. "You guys got the letters too." Sasuke stated as he looked at her home. "I can't believe she left." Naruto muttered as a large frown covered his face.
"Sakura m-must have had a reason for leaving, we can't blame her for this." Hinata said as she clutched her letter. "No she just left us without a second thought Hinata! She doesn't care about us!" Sasuke yelled in anger as tears began to build up in his eyes.
"Stop it Sasuke! That's not true! Sakura-chan cares about all of us!" Naruto yelled as he glared towards Sasuke. "No I'm done with all these lies people always promise me. Sakura left me when I needed her most! I don't need anyone in my life! I'm better off alone!" With that Sasuke began walking off.
"Sasuke stop you don't mean that!" Naruto yelled in protest. "Yes I do." With a simple fire jutsu Sasuke lit the letter in his hands before walking off.
"No Sasuke don't leave us too." Hinata cried as she watched him walk off.
Although Sakura may have left to protect them, it was not going to protect their friendship.

Sasuke walked down a long stone path until he arrived to the place he was looking for, the Uchiha compound. He went underneath the yellow tapes the were strapped onto the entrance as he walked into the compound.
All around him were the outlines of the victims of the attacks as well as blood splattered all around. As he walked along the path, the eerie silence made his remember the once joyful people here in his clan. Slowly he arrived towards his home and went through the broken door.
Walking around through multiple hallways he finally arrived to the room of where his parents died. As he slid the door open he saw the outline of his parents corpses on the floor.
Until you earn these eyes, you can never defeat me.
Stupid little brother, I only wanted to gain power and to prove my capability.
You need to feel hatred in order to defeat me.
Sasuke felt tears fall down his cheeks as he remember his parents being murdered right before his eyes. "Kaa-chan." His mother's smile, her kindness and her bright and joyful spirit. "Tou-chan." Although he may have not have showned it, whenever he would praise him for what he did in the academy or show him a justu it always made Sasuke so happy.
"Why did you leave me! Why did you leave me Sakura!" Sasuke yelled as he fell to his knees and hit the hard wood floor. Her bright smile made him forget about the massacre even if it was just a little, now it makes him feel nothing but pain.
Whenever she was by his side, he always felt so happy, now he doesn't want to see her. But even after all this Sasuke still wants her back in his life his dearest friend that made him happy.
"Come back please Sakura."
From afar Sakura paused for a moment while she looked back at Konoha. "Are you alright Sakura?" Mia asked as she raised an eyebrow. "Yes I am it's just...never mind let's just go." With that the two continued on their journey.
