Chapter 27: Sakura's New Beginning

Sakura POV

Darkness completely surrounded me as if I was in some sort of dark abyss. I looked around but anywhere I looked it was darkness "Sakura." I turned to see Mia-sensei and I gave her a hug. "Sakura I am so proud of you. You stopped the mark from controlling you." I smiled but Mia looked confused.

"Sakura-chan what's wrong?" this was the thing with Mia-sensei no matter how I am or if I'm faking what I'm truly feeling she could read me like an open book better than anyone. "Mia-sensei I feel as if something is gonna happen and it's not good." she frowned and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Sakura just relax I'm here for you and if anything happens to you I'll protect you and your friends." I started to cry. "That's the thing I don't want you to protect me. I want to show my full potential and show you I can protect and not stand in the back watching people risk their lives for me. I snapped at her.

"Look I'm sorry ok I didn't mean to get angry with you I..I just need you to under that I need to face my demons on my own. If I were to lose you Mia-sensei I could never forgive myself." she put a hand on my head and gently ruffled my pink hair. "I understand Sakura but their isn't anything wrong with getting some help from friends. The same goes for you Sakura I can't lose you either and I will always be here." I smiled and pulled her into another hug and I felt my vision blurry.

I slowly opened my eyes and the song scent of medicine filled my nose and o looked around to see im in a hospital room. "Sakura-chan your awake." I looked to see Naruto and Sasuke walk in with flowers in their hands. "Hey guys how did the exam go." Sasuke placed the flowers in a little vase and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"We passed datte-bayo me and teme are moving on to the next round. And for the finals I'm going up against Neji, Sasuke is going up against the Gaara guy and your going against Temari or Shikamaru depending on who wins that battle." I nodded and smiled but my eyebrows then scrunched in confusion. "Hey Naruto what about Hinata? Where is she anyway?" I saw Naruto's large smile turn into a frown and his fist clenched.

"Hinata is unconscious right now she lost to a battle with her cousin Neji in the preliminaries and she was seriously hurt." my eyes widen and I scrambled to get out of bed. "Wait Sakura you just woke up you need to relax." I pulled away from Sasuke's grip. "No I need to see Hinata. Take me to her now!" the boys nodded and let to different hallways before we got to Hinata's room.

I looked inside to see her unconscious. She looked so pale it scared me to think she was dead the only thing that gave me the idea she was alive was the slow beeping of her heart monitor. "Kuso." I fell to my knees and cried. "If maybe I was there I could have prevented this from happening to her." I felt Sasuke wrap his arms around me.

"You didn't know this would happen to her Sakura it's not your fault. Hinata will be fine and we just have to be here for her." he said as I clutched to his shirt. I slowly got out of Sasuke's grip and went towards Hinata I put my hand on her forehead and chest and let me green chakra flow into her system.

I slowly saw the color of Hinata's skin come back and her internal started to heal faster. "S-Sakura?" I saw her white eyes stare at me and smiled. "Hinata you alright!" she started to slowly get up and I helped her get support on the head board. "Hinata-hime!" Naruto came over and pulled her into a hug careful not to hurt her.

"Naruto-kun!" she smiled into the hug as I her his small whimpers as he held her tightly. "Come on Sakura let's give them room." said Sasuke as he led me back to my room. When we got back I laid back on the bed along with Sasuke as he held me close to his chest. "You did a good job Sakura. Naruto hasn't been this happy since you guys were unconscious." he said as he played with my long pink hair.

I looked into his eyes those beautiful black orbs that were like a dark abyss but still held that little twinkle I see everytime he is with me. "I'm just glad she is ok. I really missed you Sasuke." he slowly started to lean in same with me.

"Yo." I heard an all but familiar voice speak and Sasuke glared as he saw Kakashi-sensei by the door with his signature closed eye smile. "We'll hello to you Sasuke. I just came to see Sakura; glad to see your awake." I smiled at him get out of Sasuke's grip.

"Oh I also wanted to say Sasuke your training starts today so you better be prepared." Sasuke 'hn'd' in response and I just giggled at his childness. "Sakura since you passed the preliminaries you have one month to train before the finals so ya try and find a teacher." I grew panicked not knowing who was gonna train me.

"But Kakashi-sensei who is gonna train me." he shrugged his shoulders before walking out. "Not my problem you have to work that out on your own." I glared at him as Sasuke smirked.

I was allowed to leave the hospital after my talk with Kakashi. Sasuke had to leave for his training and I walked around the village. 'Sakura you do realize I can train you. right?' I heard Mia-sensei say in my mind. 'Ya I know it's just that you already taught me everything you know so what's the point' I heard her chuckle.

'Actually I didn't teach you everything there is still a few things I can teach you with your omegan.' I started to jump around. 'Really?! When do we start!?' 'Tomorrow just be prepared because it's gonna take a while to learn this' I nodded and made my way to my house.

Once I arrived I took a quick shower and fell asleep on my bed excited for my training with Mia-sensei tomorrow.
