Sakura POV
I ran as fast as I could to get back to Sasuke and Naruto. Thoughts ran through my head of them possibly being injured or worse. I shook my head of those thoughts and kept running. "Sasuke, Naruto are you guys alri-Kabuto?" I stopped in my tracks once I saw Kabuto near Sasuke and Naruto holding our scroll.
"What's going on here?" I asked putting my hand into my kunai pouch. "We'll I just saved your teammates from opening your scroll and trying to make a fake scroll." he said before handing me the scroll "Is that true Naruto,Sasuks?" both boys turned pale before nodding their heads.
"Why would you do that!?" I shouted at then before bonking them on the head. "Because we didn't want you to get injured again like with what happened with that snake guy." I didn't notice Kabuto's eyes widened for fraction of second.
"Hey what happened to you neck Sakura?" he asked. I quickly used my hand to cover my mark "Oh just an injury from a battle we had." I said trying my best to sound convincing.
"Hey have you guys gotten your second scroll yet?" we all shook our heads "That's a shame me and my team already got ours." he said holding the heaven and earth scroll in his hands. Sasuke gets into a fighting post on kunai pointed towards Kabuto.
"Give us the scroll." he said narrowing his coal black eyes "Sasuke what the hell man?! Kabuto just saved us and your trying to attack him?!" Naruto said in disbelief "Listen Kabuto we can do this the easy way or the hard way." he said never taking his eyes of him.
"You won't do it Sasuke." he stated with a smirk "And why's that?" said Sasuke with an eyebrow raised "Because you would have attacked me when my guard was down and not have given me a chance to defend myself." Sasuke sent a glare at Kabuto before lowering his kunai.
"Now then what I was thinking is I can help you guys get an earth scroll." he said adjusting his glasses "Really how? there are probably none left." Kabuto shool his head before pulling out a map "See here this is the tower to where we take the scrolls if we have them both."
"By that area there are some ninjas there so they can jump other candidates to get their scrolls and if I'm correct there might be someone there with a heaven scroll that we can take out." he said rolling up the map
"Not a bad idea. When do we head there?" asked Sasuke crossing his arms over his chest. "We leave now. The sooner we get there the better your chances are of getting a scroll." Kabuto replied turning towards the direction of the tower.

We could already see tower in our view and we quickly became defensive looking around to see if we find any ninja or enemy. "Guys there's nothing here, Kabuto if you tricked-" I looked towards Kabuto to see him placing a finger to his lips and point to a tree not to far from us. When we got closer ninjas jumped out of nowhere surrounding us.
"Oh yah this is more like is ten ninjas against.." Naruto made handsigns before fifty more Naruto's appeared "against fifty-five of us!"

After so long we had finally gotten a heaven scroll and we are now at the tower. "Okay guys were here are you ready!" I asked Naruto and Sasuke nodded and we opened the scrolls and Iruka-sensei appeared.
"Congratulations Team 7 you guys made it with a few hours to spare. There's some rooms for you guys to rest in and a medic incase for any injuries you may have gotten. Congratulations to you as well sir." said Iruka as he looked towards Kabuto. "When your ready go towards the center for an announcement."
"Thanks Iruka your the best!" Naruto shouted and by now we knew his wounds were healed. We went inside and went our separate ways from Kabuto. We arrived at the center after our wounds were healed to see the rest of the rookie 9.
"You guys!" we heard a soft voice shout and we looked to see Hinata running towards us. "Hinata-chan!" shouted Naruto as he glomped the poor girl in a bear hug. "I miss you so much are you okay? Are you hurt?" he said letting go of his bone crushing hug.
She nodded saying she was fine but when she looked at me she grew concerned. "Sakura-chan what is that?" I paled and dragged her away from everyone a far distance. "Listen Hinata please don't tell anyone about this." she nodded before I told her the whole story.
"Sakura you need to tell the Hokage about this especially since you don't know what else could possibly happen with this mark." she scolded. I quickly got a bandaid from my pouch to cover up the mark.
"Hinata please who knows what will happen. I can't lose this opportunity Hinata what if I'm disqualified. I can't let Naruto and Sasuke down!" she sighed before giving me a hug. "Okay but if this gets worse you have to tell the Hokage. Okay?" I nodded and she released me right when the Hokage was about to speak.
"Congratulations teams, you have all passed the second exam. In fact many more of you passed than we expected. The third test is to be a series of one on one matches, but in light of the sheer number of participants we will hold a preliminary round." Looking around I see my teammates excitement. In fact many seem excited about fighting. I wonder who I will fight. I can see all the rookie teams made it, along with the sound team, the sand team, and Kabuto's team. Of the many people in this room there are only a few I think I can beat and I'm sure my boys will win. Oh God, please don't make me fight one of my boys or Hinata.
"Gekko Hayate will be your proctor."
A sickly man in a green flak jacket steps up beside the Hokage and begins to explain the rules, stopping every few words to cough. The matches are to be randomized via computer and posted up on the big screen. Basically anything goes during the fight, just don't kill. The victor will continue on to the finals.
Kabuto at this point backs out and dooms himself to failing the exam for the eighth time.
"First up will be; Akado Yoroi vs. Uchiha Sasuke."
I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while but here is the chapter I hope you guys enjoy. Oh and I made a few changes to when Sakura gets the curse mark enjoy guy. Ja-nee
