Chapter 26: Sakura's New Beginning

Naruto POV
After Sakura-chan and Sasuke-teme left I grew worried. They had been gone for a long while and I've noticed Hinata looking at me from time to time. "Naruto-kun what's taking them so long?" she asked her voice filled with worry. "Don't worry Hinata-hime I'm sure everything is fine." she nodded but I felt as if something really did happen.

"Yo." I heard a familiar voice say and I looked to see Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke-teme but no Sakura. "Hey guys where Sakura-chan?!" I asked worried for her safety. "Hn. Relax dobe she is fine; she is just resting." I nodded

Then computer started to show different names at a rapid pace before it stopped and my heart dropped. 'Hinata Hyuga vs Neji Hyuga' Hinata told me about her cousin and how he is so ruthless when they train and how is so ubsessed with destiny.

I looked at Hinata-chan and her eyes were widen in shock. "Hinata. Hinata look at me." she started to shake when she looked into my eyes. "You'll be fine Hinata. Your are strong and you have been training hard. So go out there and show him what you got datte-bayo!" she smiled and I gave her one last kiss before she jumped down.

I looked down as she stood face to face with Neji. "Naruto she'll be fine..hopefully."said Sasuke I heard him whisper that last part but I just kept focus on Hinata. "The battle between Hinata Hyuga and-" but he was cut off. "Before we begin I would like to say something!" said Neji as he glared at Hinata.

"Hinata-san it is best for you to quit now!" her eyes had widened "You are to soft to be a ninja. Your sweetness and kindness shall be the death of you. You are nothing but a weak and insolent girl who knows nothing about the cruel world. It is destined that you shall lose this battle with me and you can not change destiny." he said and Hinata was shaking.

No I thought "Hinata don't let him say that to you. Remember what I told you. You are strong and an amazing ninja. Now show him what your made of and kick his ass Hinata-chan!" she gave me a greatful look before looking back at Neji.

"Neji-nii-san I'm not gonna quit no matter what you say and I'll show you I am strong." I was so proud when Hinata didn't stutter because if she was talking to someone else besides me, Sasuke and Sakura. "Alright then the battle between Neji and Hinata may now begin!" Hayate shouted before Hinata and Neji activated their byakugans.

Neji went merciless on Hinata with his attacks. Hinata tried her best but didn't land a hit on Neji. He striked her so many times and she was now on the floor and I was gripping on the handle bars.

"Surrender now Hinata or you will die." Neji spoke as he looked down on Hinata. "Hinata!" I was freaking out at this point. "Naruto calm down. You need to-" but I growled at Sasuke and his eyes widened. "Shut up Sasuke how would you feel seing your girlfriend get hurt and you can't do anything."

I looked back at Hinata seing her cough up blood and on all fours. "Hinata Hyuga has been defeated Nej-" but he was stopped when Hinata got up. "No I will not cough stop." she reactivated her byakugan and charged at Neji but he hit her right in her chest. "Hinata!!" she fell back again but this time she didn't get up.

"Hinata Hyuga has lost the winner is Neji Hyuga!" Neji kept his eyes on Hinata and charged at her. "Hey stop!" I shouted and ran towards Hinata. But before he could get closer to her he was held back by some jonin.

Everyone jumped down from the balcony and ran towards Hinata and I went towards Neji and punched him in the face. "How could you?! The battle was over how dare you hurt Hinata-chan!" I was beyond angry. "It's simple in this battle there will always be a winner or a lose and in her case she will always remain a loser and weak." I growled and tried to charge at him but I was held back by Sasuke.

"He is not worth it Naruto come on we have to check on Hinata." I nodded not before glaring at Neji. "Hinata!" she looking at me pain evident in her eyes. "Naruto I'm so sorry I failed you I'm weak." I started to cry. "No your not Hinata you are strong and an amazing ninja." she gave me a smile before her eyes started to close.

"No Hinata!" her sensei came over and placed her ear on Hinata's chest. "There's no heart beat!" she ripped open Hinata jacket and started to perform CPR. "We need the medic now!" medical stretchers came and took Hinata.

I crouched down I covered my fingers in Hinata's blood and looked at Neji. "If I were to face you in a match Neji I won't hesitate to end you for hurting her!" I went to the hospital along with Sasuke.

It was a while when Hinata went into the emergency room and I was freaking out. "Hinata Hyuga." I stood up along with Sasuke and her team who came to check on Hinata too. "Yes is she alright?" I was scared out of my mind. "Yes Hinata is alright we were able to heal her injuries. She was lucky to have survived you can come see her now." we all went inside and saw her unconscious.

"Hinata.." I went towards her side and held her hand. "Naruto she'll be fine." I heard Sasuke say but I just ignored him. "Naruto Hinata is a tuff girl I should know I'm her teammate and she is strong enough to get through this." said Kiba I gave them a smile and I kissed Hinata's knuckles.

"Come on we should leave and come back when she is awake." said he sensei Kurenai. I nodded and gave her on last kiss on her forehead before following them out of the room.
