Chapter 34: Sakura's New Beginning

Sasuke POV

I felt a pair of hands shaking me yelling at me to ask if I was alright. Frankly I wasn't the girl I loved used me for games and it hurt a lot more than losing my clan. I sat up on the bench and rubbed my eyes.

Two shinobi stood infront of me. "Sasuke Uchiha, Tsunade requests to speak with you." I nodded and made my way to the Hokage tower with hope that maybe we can still bring her back.

I slammed the door open surprising everyone inside. "Its about time Sasuke, now I'm sure your all aware of Sakura Haruno leaving the village." I stood by Hinata and Naruto as they too were hurt by what happened with Sakura.

"I'm not sure why she did but we need to bring her back." I raised my hand a she nodded at me to speak. "Last night before she left she told me she was leaving to Orochimaru's." everyone gasped Tsunade's eyes narrowed.

She slammed her fist on the table breaking it in half. "That bastard." All of you are now on a high rank mission to retrieve Sakura Haruno since there are no other available shinobi at this moment..understand!" we nodded an made our way to the gates.

I went to my house and grabbed more weapons for this mission Sakura still on my mind. I ran to the gates and saw Shikamaru in a chunnin vest talking with everyone. "Sasuke you ready!" I nodded and we ran out the village.

In this rescue squad we have Shikamaru as the leader, Naruto, Hinata, Neji, Shino, Chouji and Kiba."Here's the plan we will travel in a single file with a little alteration. Kiba you and Akamaru will take up the front since you guys spend more time in the forest during the summer. Plus your sense of smell will help us track down Sakura"

"Got it!" Kiba commented

"Next will be truly yours, I'll be able to help with attacks and give orders. Naruto you'll be behind me with your shadow clones to help with attacks and to help protect me and Kiba if anything goes wrong."

"Ya." Naruto said nodding.

"Next Chouji and Shino. Chouji you have more power on your attacks than anyone else, Shino your abilities with your bugs can help with fighting with the enemy and help with Chouji."

They both nodded agreeing with the plan.

"Neji, Hinata and Sasuke you guys will take up the rear because of your kekkai genkai. You guys can help with Chouji and Shino incase stuff goes wrong. Neji and Hinata with your byakugan you can see if we have any flaws on the way from our formation, Sasuke your Sharingan can help predict our opponents moves and to find any hits up ahead."

We nodded and Shikamaru sighed. "This is gonna be such a drag."

We nodded and got into formation.

Sakura POV

I ran faster and faster to get to Orochimaru his henchmen left me to deal with my comrades well old comrades. I felt horrible but I had to do this to protect them from him.

I felt my curse mark start to take over as I thought of what my friends were thinking of me.

I felt lost in the dark looking around for any sort of light to get me out. "Sakura." I turned to see Sasuke but instead his sharingan was activated and his eyes were bleeding.

"How could you Sakura." I shook my head and held his hands. "Please understand I'm protecting you guys!" he scoffed and released my grip on his hands. "Because of you konoha will fall! Well all die because of you!" I cried as he vanished like dust.

"Sakura how could you?" I looked behind me to see all my friends with blood coming out of their eyes as if if they were crying. "I'm so sorry." They all glared at me with hate as if I was the most disgusting thing on earth.
