Lydia's pov:
"See you in a bit!" I peak out of my window to see John and Emma driving off in a car leaving Stiles and a little girl standing at the end of the driveway. A little girl?I'm not a creeper, just so you know, but I crack my window slightly so I can hear their conversation.
"Who'd you bring this time?" Stiles asks, pointing to the doll in the girls hand.
"It's Lucinda!!! You know Lucinda!!" She giggles, handing the doll to Stiles. He looks at it for a moment before handing it back to the girl."We could parachute her out of the window again." Stiles smiles and the girl jumps on his back causing him to stumbling slightly before catching her. They disappear out of my sight and I move away from my window, sitting on the edge of my bed with a notebook in my lap, trying to look normal.

Stiles pov:"I don't think you're supposed to be doing that." Jesse giggles as I take a can of whipped cream out of the fridge, squirting some in my mouth.
"You want some?" I ask and she nods excitedly so I laugh and spray some in her mouth as well. When we moved, there was a small box of things that Jesse left over the house over the years so I grabbed the box and jogged upstairs, Jesse trailing behind me.
"Knock yourself out." I set her toys down on the floor, sitting on my bed so I can watch her play.It was pure habit by now to glance over at Lydia's window but what I saw, I did not expect to see. Lydia stood at her closet, riffling through t-shirts. The catch? She wasn't wearing a shirt yet. Don't judge me, I'm a hormonal teenage boy, I can't help myself. I scoot forward on the edge of the bed, almost leaning completely over to where I fall on the floor.
My field of vision is cut off by a pair of small hands and an always giggling girl.
"You shouldn't be looking at that." She laughs and I pry her hands from my eyes. "Do you think she's cute?" Jesse asks.
"Quiet." I shush her, glancing out of my window again to see Lydia exiting her room in a bright yellow sweater."D-do you want to go outside?" I turn back to Jesse and she glares at me.
"You just want to see that girl." She squints her eyes and I stand.
"Shut up, you'll love it. Fresh air is important for you're brain or something like that." I argue.Jesse rolls her eyes with a smile before grabbing my hand and dragging me downstairs. She continues to drag me out the door and to the end of the driveway. Lydia rode a bike up and down the street and I couldn't help my jaw from dropping slightly.
"HEY GIRL!" Jesse shouts and I look down to her with wide eyes before covering her mouth my hand. But of course it was too late. Lydia pedals over to my driveway, a smile on her face as she stops in front of us.
"Hi Stiles. Who's your friend?" She asks and I uncover Jesses mouth so she can speak.
"Stiles was staring at you through the window!" Jesse giggles and I cover her mouth again. Lydia raises her eyebrows at me and I can feel my cheeks redden.
"She's a liar. She lies...frequently." I explain causing Jesse to laugh into my palm."Well my name..." Lydia peels my hand off of my cousins face, her fingers leaving a little tingle on my skin. "is Lydia." She smiles.
"I'm Jesse.""Well, Jesse, would you like it if you're... Brother?" Lydia questions.
"Cousin." Jesse corrects.
"Right. Would you and your cousin want to ride bikes with me?" Lydia asks. Please say no. Please say no."Yes!!!" Jesse jumps up and down excitedly and I sigh as quietly as possible. Then again, what did I expect from coming out here?

"And then one time I dared him to pee on a tree but he wouldn't do it because he can't pee in public." Jesse tells yet another story and I try not to fall off my skateboard. Jesse sat on Lydia's lap since I didn't have a bike and two people on a skateboard was not a very good idea: no weight distribution."That's a lie! I have no peeing issues whatsoever." I defend.
"Nooooo. That's a lie. He does have peeing issues." Jesse grins evilly.
"Keep in mind, I control your bedtime tonight." I warn and she straightens up causing Lydia to laugh. I'd never heard Lydia laugh before and let me tell you, it was probably the most beautiful laugh if ever heard.A small grin spreads across my face and I look towards the ground, shoving my hands in my pockets.
"He's pretty good at lacrosse." Jesse breaks the short silence. I look up to her.
"Now you want to say good things about me?" I chuckle. We spend the rest of the afternoon biking and skating up and down the road, every now and then Lydia taking the skate board and me getting the bike. The sun starts to set so the three of us say our goodbyes, heading into our separate houses.
"Do you like her?" Jesse asks immediately after I close the front door. What kind of a question is this?
"No." I deadpan.
"Well you should." She looks up at me with sympathetic eyes.
"Go get ready for bed!" I push her away from me gently and she laughs, running upstairs.|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
