I avoided any contact with Niall. At the funeral. At the pizza place. Even the ride home. Tomorrow is my 18th birthday. I dreaded this. Dad said it will be like a royal ball. And as you know I HATE attention. And I became famous because I forgot about that. I don't even know how to waltz. I checked the list dad gave me for the schedule and if I forgot to mention. "We have a day at the spa the parlor and at six you'll get ready for your party"mom said clasping her hands

I sent her a quick message of the details and everything.

I took a quick shower and changed into a short casual beige dress. I wore a black hat with some shades.

"Honey I have a surprise for you!"mom said from downstairs. I put on my flats and skipped down the stairs. Stupid shoe! I clumsily fell. I closed my eyes and waited for the painful and embarrassing impact.

Wait, floors don't hug?! Do they. Of course they don't! Ugh

I opened my eyes and saw those blue eyes I loved and adore. And saw that smile that let out the best laugh I had ever heard. Okay stop it. Now

"Sorry Niall this stupid shoe is so hard to put" I said still struggling with this shoe

"Here ill help"he said grabbing my shoe. I sat down the sofa and relaxed. He knelt down in front of me, reaching my foot and carefully placing the shoe.

"Perfect fit, for a perfect princess"he said grabbing my hand and kissing it. That's the farthest I could take. I smiled

"Thanks Niall. Why are you here anyway? Don't tell me your going shopping with me!" I said standing up hands crossed.

"Actually Perrie Danielle Eleanor and Sara are The boys are just here to carry your bags"he said hands up in sign of surrender. I laughed at his actions

"Caroline, your going shopping with the girls and Niall and then meet me at spa at 12pm sharp"my mom said pointing her watch.

"Yes mom see you later"I kissed her cheek and left. Niall went in first as Paul held the door and greeted me

"Happy birthday Caroline feeling better I see"he said

"Yeah almost as if it was nothing!"I replied and smiled

I rode the car and the girls greeted me the rest of the boys were also there

"Happy birthday Caroline!!!" They greeted as they put the candles on a cheesecake

"A cheesecake really?!" I said and blew the candles. Wishing the same thing I have been wishing for the past year

"So we are going to shop until noon then we will get ready" Perrie said

"Yeah I'm doing your hair Perrie!"a girl shouted.

"And this must be Eleanor. You know Louis really talks about you a lot. Mostly crying to his sleep. And yelling. 'I want my Eleanor!"I smiled to Louis mischievously while he was blushing madly

"Really. I think Louis forgot to mention he missed me that much"she said and leaned in too Louis then they kissed deeply.

"Aww your such a cute couple. Can I force you to get married already. But seriously. Can't you even breath"I said as I ate the cake. Yes I ate it. Don't judge me.

"So Caroline, who did you invite to your party"Sara said

"You don't even want to know, or else you might fan girl to death"

You must be wondering who Sara is. Well she is my cousin who visited me in the hospital and apparently harry is liking her. She is a singer. She's really sweet and she's really a cool girl because she likes sport. I love that girl. Unless she beats me at soccer/football. She has brown hair and blue eyes

"Give me one person that you'll invite that'll make me fan girl"she said leaning close

"Harry Styles" I said simply as both of them blushed

"We're here"Paul yelled. They both sighed in relief

We arrived at the mall and as I know. We were an easy target. We were all together in one pact. Okay I sound like a spy.....

We went around different stores with the boys carrying our bags. We went to a jewelry store and there were billions of them. But one was really cute it had a heart that had the words "my only princess"

I looked at the necklaces it spelled something

"Someone is going to propose later and this is how" the lady told me while pointing at the necklaces. She must have noticed my curiosity

"Hmmm cute"

"Hurry up Caroline!!!" Perrie said dragging me out of the store
