'Geez sometimes my luck is worse than Komaeda's.' You thought as you looked at the pouring rain. You had done some quick shopping, and had just left the last store when the sky suddenly let loose. Now you were soaked to the bone and taking cover under an awning in front of a closed ice cream shop. 'Clear and sunny for the rest of the week, yeah right. How did they mess up their prediction so badly?' You wondered as you waited for the sudden storm to subside.

As you were wondering if you should make a run for it, someone else soon accompanied you under your hiding spot. At first you didn't pay any mind to the person till you heard him mumbling to himself. You glanced at him and saw the familiar purple scarf.
"Gundam?" The teenager was surprised to hear his name and looked around a bit till his eyes landed on you.
"(y/n)?"
"Haha You got caught in this storm to huh?"
"Sadly, as I was gathering supplies for the Heavenly Gods and I. I let down my guard, and the demons gathered their strength to attack me and block my path. However it will take more than...th-th- *Achoo*"
"You may be the Dark Lord, but you still can catch a cold. Luckily for you I went shopping for bathroom supplies. Here, I bought a new towel, you should dry yourself with it." You said as you grabbed your (f/c) towel and handed it to him.

After he took the towel from you, he didn't dry himself, instead he unwrapped his scarf so you could see his four hamsters shivering. He was about to dry them, but you stopped him.
"Wait, the towel is for you, here, they may prefer something smaller. I got a hand towel you can use for them." You said as you handed him (s/f/c) hand towel. He nodded putting the towel over his shoulder and grabbing the hand towel. He quickly began drying his hamsters, and the two of you stood in silence.
"Here you go (y/n). I thank you for allowing me to use your items you have gathered on your quest."
"No problem Gundam. -sigh- I think we may be here awhile, it doesn't look like this storm will let up any time soon." You stated.

You were right about the storm not clearing up anytime soon, in fact it looked like it was getting worse, much to your dismay.
"Hey Gundam, do you think there will be thunder?" You asked after a few minutes of nothing but the patter of rain on the awning.
"The demons anger has seemed to have grown, they shall likely begin throwing empty threats directed to me!" He stated confidently.
"Oh." You are one of the few people who could decipher what he was saying with ease.
"You do not have to worry (y/n) the demons angry shall be directed towards I! Hahaha However they can not harm me! For I have the power of the Heavenly Gods!" You couldn't help but giggle a bit at what he said.
"Well, as long as you and the Heavenly Gods are here then I should be safe. I just hate thunder. Haha A bit silly huh?" You asked sheepishly as you rubbed the back of your neck. He looked at you a bit before nodding.
"I shall not deny it is odd for you to be afraid of demons empty threats."
"I-It's not my fault! I have always been afraid of thunder sense I was a baby!" You exclaimed slightly blushing. You hated it when people found out your fear, seeing as they always laughed at it.

He chuckled and was about to say something, but there was a bright flash of lightning, which as followed by a ear splitting clap of thunder. You let out a slight squeal and hugged you knees in surprise doing your best not to tear up. You reallllly hated thunder and it frightened you tremendously.
"D-Don't laugh." You stated your teeth chattering from fright.
"Why would I do that? Sometimes the demons threats can be rather frightening, especially for a mere mortal" He said. You didn't look at him since your face was still buried into your knees. As you were sitting there shivering, you felt a wet cloth on your head, and four little things scurrying onto your shoulders. You looked up to see he had placed his scarf and hamsters onto your shoulders. You were about to ask him what he was doing, but another crash of thunder erupted which made you seek safety back in your knees.

When you finally had the courage to look back up, you saw you were alone.
"Gundam!? Hey were are you!?" You exclaimed. You thought about going to go look for him, but you knew he would be back. After all he did leave his loyal hamsters and his scarf behind. You just sat there petting his hamsters for comfort (though you almost squeezed one to death when another blast of thunder rang through your ears). After about ten minutes you heard someone heavily panting right next to you. You were about to ask him were he went, but you saw an umbrella in his hands 'No way, he didn't.'
"I decided to get the only charm which could protect you from these demons wrath. I only had enough of the flimsy paper to obtain one of their protective charms."
"The nearest store with an umbrella is three-fourths of a mile away! You went all the way there!?"
"Of course! Hahaha This was but an easy feat for I the Dark Lord!" He exclaimed. You smiled at him and stood up. You brushed of the dirt from you (f/c) pants and got ready to go.
"Here is your scarf, I was able to wring out a lot of the water."
"Haha I see, however I am holding on to the protective charm so I shall require you to hold onto it."
"Sure. I guess we should go, luckily there is no wind so the umbrella won't be swept away." You state as you stood next to him. He nodded and you both head back to Hopes Peak.

As you were walking everything was great till a crash of thunder, which made the rest sound like a whisper suddenly entered your ears. When you heard it you immediately and unknowingly hugged Gundam. Which made him stop in his tracks. He had no clue as to what to do, even with all his dark powers he was still unskilled in this situation. So he just patted you back till you stopped shivering.
"Don't worry (y/n) as long as I am by your side the demons can not touch you." He whispered into your ear. You looked up and smiled at him which cause him to blush. It also took you a second till you realized how close you were, which made blush to. You then both continued your walk back, but this time when ever you heard thunder you would slightly squeeze his hands (did I mention you were holding hands? No, well you are). It didn't take long till you both arrived back at Hopes Peak.

"Thanks for the help Gundam. If it weren't for you I would still be there practically in tears. So thanks." You said sheepishly. You were about to close the door, but he stopped you by grabbing your hand.
"(y/n) if you wish for the demons to leave you be, I know away." He said blushing rather darkly now.
"Really?" He nodded. You were about to ask what to do, but you couldn't speak. Mainly because he had leaned down and kissed you. You were surprised, but kissed back. He soon pulled back and wrapped his arms around your waist.
"(y/n) will you be my goddess?" You smiled at him your (y/c) eyes staring into his mismatch ones. You nodded and kissed him.
"I would love to Gundam." You replied happily. Lets just say, the two of you had one hell of a year.
