"I... I... I'm sorry?" I said looking down, bitting my bottom lip. I fidgeted my hands nervously on my back.

"That sounded like a question Ms. Bennett. Are you really sorry? Please sit down. Let's discuss some things about it." He said signaling me to sit down on the fancy leather chair in front of his desk.

"I'm really sorry Mr. Sterling I really am. I didn't mean to crash your car." I said honestly. "I'm going to pay for everything." My heart was pounding so fast that I felt it would come out through my mouth any moment.

He looked at me with his cold green eyes for a few seconds. I didn't know what he was thinking and it made me really really nervous. He opened his desk and took a file out. He handed me the file. I opened it and saw a document addressed to him with the amount of $20,000 imprinted at the top in big bold numbers. My vision was blurry for a few seconds; I looked up and stared at him with my mouth opened.

"So, Ms. Bennett as you can see you owe me 20,000. How are you planning to pay me?" He said in a cold tone.

"Shit " I mumbled under my breath.

He chuckled.

"I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to crash your car and..."
"I don't care Ms. Bennett." He cut me off rudely and I felt angry. I was going to say something when he continued talking as if he was the only there. "I have a deal to offer to you."

" A deal?" I said a little shocked.

"Please sit down." He signaled me to sit.

"No, I'm fine like this thank you very much." I shook my leg nervously.

"Fine." He rested his elbows on the desk intertwining his fingers. "The deal is that you're going to work here. I need a personal assistant and you have the right profile, you've just graduated from NYU law school and you have some experience. So I will hire you and I'll take your paycheck every month until you cover the total of the debt." He said slowly.

"I don't know... I..."

"Well if you don't like it I can always sue you. I can proof you were drunk and high while driving." He cut me off.

"Whaat?!" I said completely shocked "High? Are you freaking kidding me? I'm sorry Mr. Sterling but I don't do drugs, I have never done and never will. I haven't even smoked weed and that's a lot to say have being in college. So if you sue me I'll sue you back for libeling me! I yelled at him. I was not nervous any more I was angry. I felt my blood boil. Who the hell does he think he is?

"Oh, my God! The nerve you have to deny it and as if that weren't enough you are threatening me of suing me back! Unbelievable!" He stood up and held his hands up in the air.

"No, no, no, the nerve you have of accusing me of such a lie. I wasn't high, I didn't even drink maybe I was upset but high, never!" I pointed at him with my finger.

"You were!" He yelled.

"No, I wasn't!" I yelled back

"Yes, you were. I have a medical report to prove it." He said loosening his tie.

"Oh, really. You can always forge a document like that." I said and crossed my arms on my chest.

"What are you saying?!" He yelled again.

"Oh, my God! Just forget about it. I don't get why you are threatening me if I haven't said no to your deal." I said cutting him off and sighed in defeat. "I will accept your deal but there's only one condition."
