An: The ending has finally arrived it will be abrupt . But sadly my lack of inspiration for this story forces me to end it . I'll try my best to wrap up nicely thank you so much to anyone who has read this far I love you !

Don't leave me

The next morning Damon is in a mad dash to get to work hoping he hasn't scared her off. Much to his surprise and relief she's in his office chair. Her poker face in place and yet he could see she was ... unsettled.

"Katherine I'm so sorry about last night ... what I said it was a mistake," he waits and watches for her reaction. Slowly her facade drops before his eyes she abruptly gets out of his chair and slaps him so hard he can feel the impending headache. "You left me! I tried for years to talk to you . To reach out to you but you couldn't even answer the phone! Damon I needed you ...." 

Suddenly he became extremely agitated. "You needed me?! I was in love with you Katherine and you were in love with Stefan who was too blind to see how amazing you are! Everytime you needed me I was there but there is only so much one person can take! I loved you so much I was dying seeing you so in love with my brother," 

At this she doesn't speak but her tears were a clear indication of her current state. "You left  and guess what I realized that I was in love with you ...I tried to tell you . I left messages ,I sent letters , I called, but you were too busy forgetting everyone back home to answer,"  For a moment the world felt like was it was spinning. She loved him .... all this time she loved him. "You love me?" His voice was weaker than he expected. 

She only noded unable to speak . She swears to this day his eyes seemed a brighter blue than she had ever seen it. He took crossed over to her and kissed her  , kissed her with everything he was feeling or felt about her and she responded in kind clinging to him as if he was going to leave her.  Once they broke apart she saw tears matching hers . "Dont leave me ever again," she whispers still clinging to him. "Never your stuck with me ," 

And maybe the road ahead wasn't going to be easy but with them it never was. 

Epilogue:

"Kat are you sure about this ?We can run now ," Caroline says to her best friend seriously.  "I'm sure about this Care," she says smiling tracing the delicate beading on her dress. Caroline smiles at her childhood friend in amazement. She would of never thought the day would come but it had sooner than she had expected but Kat was in love and stubborn what a weird combination. Dutifully she starts walking bouquet in her hands accompanied by Klaus. Katherine takes a deep breath when she hears the piano play as  an announcement for her entrance. 

All her nerves disappear with seeing her blue eyed friend standing at the alter waiting for her. And if you looked closely you could see a lingering of regret in the bestmans eyes but his smile covered his pain. If you looked closely you could see the groom a little nervous and off his game. If you looked closely you could see their future and it was something they could look forward to.
