Barry and his best friend Iris, that he had a major crush on that she was completely oblivious to, even when dating Eddie, her father's partner, were going to the movies tonight.
I was in my apartment loft, having a new guitar amp and plugging in the guitar, playing Arsonist's Lullaby by Hozier, humming with the chords until I started to sing. "When I was a child / I heard voices / Some would sing and some would scream / You soon find you have few choices / I learned the voices died with me / When I was a child / I'd sit for hours / Staring into open flames / Something in it had a power / Could barely tear my eyes away / All you have is your fire / And the place you need to reach / Don't you ever tame your demons / Always keep them on a leash." I started to hum again with the chords. My phone rang. I sighed, putting the guitar down, leaning it against the amp, picking up my phone, seeing it was Cisco calling from the Labs, answering. "Hello?"
"Code 237 on Waid Boulevard."
I frowned skeptically. "Public indecency?"
"Wait, I think I meant a 239."
I stood, walking toward my closet. "Dog leash violation?"
"Bad man with a gun in a getaway car," Caitlin told me. "Go."
I opened the door to reveal my suit. "Cisco, I'm so lucky you decided to make two suits for both of us. One for home and work."
I pulled the suit out, hanging up.

I used fire to fly through the air to the street, seeing the getaway car speeding away and firing at a police car, hitting the tire, making it explode and crash against the wall. I landed on the top of the getaway car, no longer on fire, punching through the skylight, reaching inside to grab the back of the bad guy's shirt, pulling him out, using fire to fly up far enough to get the car out from under us, lowering ourselves to the ground, turning the guy to face me, handcuffing him.
"Who the hell are you?" the bad guy asked.
I smirked. "Call me Pyra." Backup police cars drove closer. "See ya."
I used fire to fly away to the sky, leaving the guy to be taken by the police.

Joe and Barry came to STAR Labs the next day with a case where several people of a gang family had been killed by gas one at a time when they should have been killed all at the same time.
"Fascinating," Wells told us. "A metahuman that can manipulate poison gas."
"Is is just poisonous gas, or can he control all aerated substances?" Cisco asked.
"And how is he able to formulate the connection?" Caitlin added. "Is it physiological or psychological?"
"This individual can create a mental nexus using gaseous substances," Wells told us.
"You mean connect with gases on a molecular level?" Cisco asked. "That's ridiculously cool."
I looked at Joe. "They get really excited about this stuff."
"The only thing I'm excited about is putting criminals behind bars," Joe told us. "Except Iron Heights isn't exactly equipped to handle metahumans."
"Then I guess it's fortunate the one you've encountered so far are no longer with us," Wells told us.
"Well, unless we're planning on executing every super-criminal we stop, you geniuses are gonna have to come up with some place to hold them," Joe told us.
