Chapter 11__Revenge of the Rogues

Caitlin, Cisco, Wells, Barry and I were out on the abandoned airplane landing strip.

Barry and I were suited up as Flash and Pyra, undergoing tests of speed and strength, and fire, obviously.

A large drone flew toward Barry menacingly, shooting toward him.

Barry zoomed away.

The drone flew toward me. I used fire to fly away.

Caitlin looked at Cisco, who was controlling the drone. "That was close."

"They told me to make it hard," Cisco told them.

"They didn't tell you to make them dead," Caitlin told him.

"Remember, this is just supposed to be a training exercise to improve both of their powers," Wells told them.

I was still using fire to fly, raising my arms at my side. "Cisco, you gonna bring it or what?" 

Cisco looked at Wells.

Wells smiled a small smile. "Bring it."

Cisco hit a button on the control he was holding.

The drone flew toward me faster in the air. I used fire to fly away in the opposite direction, going as fast as I could while still in mainly human form, looking behind me to see the drone firing a missile toward me. I turned completely into fire. The missile went through me. I grabbed it when it reached the other side of me, turning around, turning back to human form, throwing the missile into the drone, making it explode.

Barry smiled from the ground.

Caitlin smirked.

Wells seemed impressed.

Cisco sighed.

I let the fire fade, landing on the ground. "That's all you got?"

Barry smiled.

Barry and I were dressed normally, sitting with the others underneath an awning, eating Chinese food.

"Very impressive," Wells told us. "Mr. Allen, your reaction to stimuli at super speed continues to improve. And, Miss Mitchell, your ability to fly has reached to Barry's speed to run, and your to transform into fire has reached a new level entirely."

"It's still not enough," I told them.

"It will be," Wells told us. "Keep working like you are. Stay focused like you are, and you will be ready next time your man in the yellow suit comes."

"I think you mean the Reverse-Flash," Cisco told him. Wells looked at him. "What? He said it, not me. And he's right. Yellow suit, red lightning, and evil. The reverse of Barry."

Caitlin shook her head. "Meh."

"Actually, I kind of like it," Wells told us.

"I'm so ready for another round," Barry told us. "How many drones do you have?"

"Two," Cisco answered. "And they've got lasers."

I nodded.

Barry walked toward the trailer to change back into the Flash suit.

Caitlin and Wells spoke together. "No."

The next day, we walked into the STAR Labs.

"Captain Cold is back," Cisco told us. 

"For a non-metahuman, Leonard Snart is quite the nemesis," Wells told us.
