All I could smell was the - surprisingly - comforting scent of the hospital. Stiles was stretched out over three or four chairs and I was lying on a mattress my mom got me from an empty room. Scott was no where to be seen, and I haven't talked to Derek since I said I forgave him. I still don't know wether I should have or not, but maybe it would be a good thing. I then remembered what he said about talking through our minds. I tried a couple of times before, but I must of been doing it wrong as there was no answer.
"No, no. You first. Me first?" Stiles mumbling brought me out of my thoughts and I giggled.
A sudden wave of pain hit me and I knew what it was from. I groaned and rubbed my stomach hoping to get rid of it. I felt like something was scratching the inside of my head before a voice flooded into it.
Babe?
Derek. He was talking to me through the mind control thing but it felt like he was right next to me, whispering in my ear.
Babe. I know you can hear me. Now answer me.
His voice was firm and filled to the brim with authority. Alpha tone. Must be.
Don't make me come find you, because when I do, you won't like it.
I ignored him, knowing he was bluffing.
Alright then. You leave me now choice.
I rolled my eyes and settled back down, the wave of pain slowly diminishing. Eventually, sleep beckoned me and I willingly gave in.

"You stupid girl!" He shouted in my face, spraying spit all over me. "I only wanted one kid, and instead I end up with two!" He turned around, bringing the bottle of Jack Daniels to his lips and taking a large swig. I cowered away into the corner and hid my face in my knees. I heard footsteps walking towards me before he grabbed my ankle, dragging me towards the stairs. He pushed me down them and I fell on my wrist. A sharp pain ran up it and I realized it was broken. He laughed at me from the top of the stairs and I weakly climbed to my feet and ran out the front door, heading in the direction of the woods. I couldn't go to the hospital. Mom would ask too many questions and she would suspect something. I guess I'll just bandage it up when I go home. Fingers crossed, dad would be sober. I kept on walking, eventually coming to a house. It was extremely grand and looked like it could house over twenty people. The front door opened, two people stepping out. I started running so they wouldn't see me, and didn't stop until I was around a mile away. Fingers crossed it would be far enough. All of a sudden, a wolf stepped out the bushes and walked towards me. I tensed in fear, still cradling my broken wrist. It looked at it and nuzzled it gently before whimpering and running away. The last thing I saw was the black tail of it in the same bushes it appeared from. That night, I realized I was lost and ended up sleeping in the woods. I awoke to something slapping my cheek and I cringed away.
"What were you thinking?" He shouted. "Your mother almost hit me with that bat of hers."
He picked me up by my collar and punched me in the eye. That would bruise. No doubt. He punched me again and again. He brought his fist back, aimed for ,y stomach and hit it.

I woke up gasping for air with something wrapped around me protectively.
"Shh," someone cooed. "It's alright. I'm here now. It's alright."
I realized it was a dream and that he was long gone. Never to return, I hope. I slowly turned my head around, coming eyes to chest with Derek. He head was nuzzled in my neck and my body was curled up against him. I breathed in his scent and relaxed, not even bothering to check where we were. A scream disrupted the silence and a couple minutes later my phone was ringing.
"Lydia's gone. Come to the hospital," were the only words spoken by stiles before the line went dead. I quickly ran out the room and realized I was still in the hospital. Still running, I dodged doctors and nurses before emerging in the car park. Stiles' jeep was there, but Scott was in it.
"Scott. What happened?" I asked him. He looked at me and shrugged.
"From what I could gather from Stiles text, Lydia has run away into the woods naked," he replied, opening the door for me to get in. I shook my head and climbed on top, sitting cross cross apple sauce. There is no way I'm sitting in the back of that jeep. You end up crammed with no leg room. It's kind of awkward actually. Eventually, Stiles came out and produced the hospital gown Lydia was just wearing.
"This definitely the one she was just wearing?" Scott asked, just to confirm. Stiles nodded and sighed.
"We're not gonna let anyone hurt her. Not again," I said comfortingly.
"Just shove the thing in your face and let's find her." He started up the jeep and the headlights turned on automatically. Allison appeared and I smiled at her.
"Oh my god," Stiles exclaimed. She ran over to the passenger window and her and Scott started talking before he finally let her in. Let's go find us a green eyed girl!

Hey everyone! I know it's short and I know it sucks and I know I haven't updated in ages and I know that you're more than likely upset. I know. But, I haven't got a laptop, so I can't update easily. I'm having to use the app and it's really awkward. I probably won't update again until I do get my laptop and that should be either next week or the week after. Sorry it sucks but remember to vote, comment and share! Thanks!
