McKenzie's P.O.V
"Hello there."
Stiles jumped from the shock, and I quickly grabbed him and stood him behind me. I quickly unzipped the dress I was wearing and let it fall to the floor, shifting as it did so. I bared my teeth at her. Erica. The dumb blonde. She smirked at me.
"Well those little things don't scare me. No, not at all," she stated. "In fact, I think you're weak, and that Derek deserves someone a lot stronger than you. Someone like me, maybe? Yeah, that sounds about right."
I snapped my head to Stiles as he shifted behind me. That's all it took for Erica to launch herself at me. I growled as her claws tore the flesh over my ribcage, but lunges back at her, pinning her to floor with my paws. She struggled underneath me, but couldn't escape. I quickly grabbed her top and threw her into a wall, breaking her spine. She was paralysed. I grabbed her by her jacket and motioned to stiles to pick up my dress and shove it in my backpack. He did so and swung it over his shoulder. I dragged Erica along the corridors, following her scent. It led into the pools. And, of course, my boyfriend was there.
You really need to keep your bitch under control
He smirked at my comment before turning to Stiles.
"What did you see at the mechanics garage?"
I noticed Derek was holding a basketball, and wondered what his motives are.
"Several alarming EPA violations that I'm seriously considering reporting." All the while, Stiles had a straight face. That is, until Derek's claws protruded and popped the basketball.
"Let's try that again," Derek said strongly. I growled at him and he turned to me.
"Don't growl at me, Ze. I'm just trying to have a civilised conversation here." I shook my head at his words and lied down at Stiles' feet, protecting him.
"Alright, the thing was pretty slick looking. Skin was, uh, kinda patterned. I think I actually saw scales. Is that enough? Cause I have somebody I really need to talk too,"Stiles told them. Derek gave him an evil glare and I flashed my eyes at him.
Back off! He's given you enough
"Um, alright fine, eyes. Eyes are um, yellowish and slitted. It has a lot of teeth. Oh, and it's got a tail too."
I blocked out the rest of what Stiles said and concentrated on the sounds from above me. It was then that I saw Derek and Erica's eyes travel upwards to the observation platform above us. There was something up there.
"What? What? Why do you guys have this look on your face like you've seen it before?" Stiles asked the two. I quickly jumped up and dragged Stiles to where they were standing.
"Because it's here.."

Hey guys and gals! I would like to apologise for the length of this chapter. If most of you read the authors note before this you would realise that I've broken my laptop so I'm having to update off of my phone. So, this is what most of you voted for and I'm happy that you actually read the A/Ns, cos most of the time, I feel like o write them for no reason. Anyways, I want to make an official page for this series on a social media account, and I'm think Twitter. Would you guys be interested in that? I would tweet when the updates are, ask questions about what you guys want to see happening, and it could be a place for you guys to discuss what's happening in the series. Also, I'm going to change the name of this book to 'Orange Eyes' so that it follows the theme of the first book, which is 'Red Eyes'. Alright, I'm gonna end this here, and I hope to see more comments coming in. Thanks for reading,
~Jupiter
