Orange Eyes (Teen Wolf/Derek Hale)

Chapter 18

3rd Person P.O.V

Derek didn't know what to do. He was all by himself. His betas were about to go through their first full moon, and his girlfriend, and the alpha female, was out at a birthday party. Yep. The crazy girl had finally been allowed out of the hospital after going missing in the woods for a day or two, and the first thing she does is throw a birthday party. Typical Lydia. Derek was struggling to keep the pack in order. He had just finished an argument with them over control, and was getting sick of Erica's constant whining. He quickly resorted to pain.
"And, this," he said, pulling out a piece of metal in the shape of a ring. "This, is for you, Erica."
Erica's face visibly paled.

McKenzie McCall has always been known as the party girl. A girl who never missed a party, no matter who it was hosted by. She never wore the same outfit twice and was constantly amazing people with her dancing skills. Tonight was no different. It may have been a full moon, but Kenzie was in complete control. And better yet, she felt amazing. The drunk teenagers around her were laughing and smiling, drinking and gambling, the usual things teenagers did at a party during spring break. Due to her powers, Kenzie couldn't actually get drunk on human alcohol unless she spiked it with wolvesbane. She hadn't. She was tipsy.

Derek had resorted to calling Kenzie and her brother Scott when the first of the three teenagers had changed. Erica was going crazy, her eyes flashing between yellow and their normal colour. Boyds normally calm demeanour had changed to angry and riled up. It was getting harder to keep control of those two, but then Isaac came into the picture. Long story short, they four fought, Isaac found control, helped Derek get the other two back into chains and then allowed himself to be chained back up just in case.

Lydia's visions had started again. Peter. She knew what she had to do. She snook away from her party after drugging everyone with wolvesbane and found the young, green eyed alpha.  She quickly blew the powder over him, watching as he fell unconscious. She dragged his limp body to old hale house, placing him next to the warrior. She was almost done.

The alpha and the warrior lied unconscious next to each other. As the alpha woke up, he noticed the beams of moonlight shining on the grave of his uncle. A hand was placed on his muscly arm and another placed on his promised arm. Suddenly, claws dug into him. McKenzies eyes opened wide as she growled. Derek sensed her distress, but he couldn't move. They both felt the power draining out of them. A figure slowly rose as Derek, Lydia and Mckenzie looked on in fear.
"I heard there was a party. Don't worry," a man spoke. "I invited myself."

COMPETITION

Hey guys and gals. I've decided to host a little competition. I had a cover sent into me a few weeks ago, and I thought, 'hey, why not try something out'.

Basically, there will be one winner per the two categories. All you have to do is make either a cover or a trailer for my books.

If you're making a cover, then make one for both books (RE & OE). They must have a theme.

If you're making a trailer, then you only have to make one for Red Eyes.

The winner will be announced in the next chapter and will get a shoutout in this book and will get a character in my supernatural fanfic that I'm working on or a character in Allies, which is another teen wolf story.
