Introduction

"How long will it take to get there?"

"Soon sweetie,you've just got to have patience."

You slumped down in the leather car seat,starring out the window.Pine trees flashed by like melted paintings as your car continued driving on what seemed like an endless road.

"If it makes you feel better,it'll take about half an hour to arrive."

You groaned in response.
"Sure."

Your mother was driving you to visit your pal Mabel and her brother Dipper,for the second half of summer.You sadly couldn't see them the first half due to (your fav hobby/ interest) camp.You were just glad that you'd be able to see someone you actually knew for once during this hell of a break.

You could feel a nervousness in your stomach,like a bunch of butterflies were flying around on the inside.It had been so long since you've talked to Mabel,it bothered you that what if she liked her new friends better?

Regaining yourself,you looked out the front window of the car,to see an old,torn shack in the clearing of the woods.

"Is this the place?"

"From what I was told,it seems to be. Of course,even if it isn't,we could just ask the nice people where to find it."

You laughed a bit from your mother's answer.You thought it was humerus when your mother assumed that you had to be nice if you lived isolated in the woods.You never tried to question her weird logic though.

She parked the car,turning around in her seat,to look at you face-to-face.
"Alright.Time to get out!"

Closing your side door,you looked up at the shack,as it read "Mystery hack".The S was barely holding onto the roof ledge.You felt a heavy load get placed onto your back,as you turned to see your mother laughing.

"Take your luggage and go inside.I'll wait here to say goodbye."

You started to walk away,luggage in both hands and on your back.You stood in front of the door,and knocked your right elbow against the hard wood.You watched as the door swung open before your eyes.There, stood a large man,his shirt was a dark turquoise with a black painted question mark.He starred you down, until standing up straight.

"Hey uh,did Mr.Pines order more munchkins again?"He asked in a confused manor.

You laughed,putting down a suitcase so you could shake his hand."The names (y/n)! I'm suppose to be visiting Mabel and her brother Dipper.You wouldn't suppose you'd know if there here,do you?"

His eyes glistened and he grabbed ahold of you,dragging you inside.

"Yo dudes! You're friend's here!"He called out into the mesmerizing shack.

It was filled with weird statues and unexplainable objects.You felt a spark of excitement grow inside you.The sound of tumbling footsteps interrupted your train of thought,as two small figures came out from the upstairs staircase.They were pushing and fumbling over one another,until they reached the bottom of the steps.

You laughed to yourself,thinking how comedic they still were.Mabel looked in your direction,and smiled widely. "(y/n)!Oh my goodness! It's been AGES!"She freaked out,as she squeezed you into a tight embrace.

"I missed you too."you spoke,out of breath.

She let go,as you tried to catch your breath.

"Um...I'm Dipper.Its a pleasure to meet you."

You looked up to see the brown haired boy who stood beside Mabel, reach out his hand."It's a pleasure to meet you too! Mabel has told me lots about you!"

Sadly,what you said was true. Although you were Mabel's friend, you had never gotten the chance to meet him.You've seen him plenty of times on the street or in the library, but you've never spoken a word to the twelve year old.

"Here.Let me help you with that dude."You heard the large man ask,as he took all of your luggage upstairs.

"I'll be right back!"You told the twins, as you ran right back out.Luckily, your mother was still waiting for you. You hugged her tightly,as she did back.

"My,I can't believe I'm leaving my little tween out in the middle of nowhere for a month!"

"Mother..."

"I'm going to miss my sweet little pumpkin so much!"

"Mother!"

She started to laugh,as your cheeks grew a faded light pink on them,from the embarrassing words that spewed out your mother's mouth.

"Take good care."

"I will."

She kissed you on the forehead, before getting back into the drivers seat of her car.You waved goodbye, before the car was no longer in sight.

Taking a deep breath in,you started to smile.
"Gravity Falls huh?My new home for a month.Better start getting use to this area."You thought,as you felt someone wrap an arm around you.

"Hey kid.Ya coming in or what?"

You looked up to see an older man, wearing an old fashioned suit and a fez.He smiled at you,gesturing into the shack.

"Ya,sorry!"You replied,following him back inside.

Gravity Falls...oh what mysteries await you?

(A/N) I hope this was good for an introduction!
I promise that I'll try to make it enjoyable from here on out.
Might not be able to post these everyday so I'll try to work out a schedule but in the mean time,
