You awoke to see Dipper and Mabel had vanished from their beds,leaving their bedroom door open a tad bit.
Curious,you got out from under the covers,walking slowly to the door. Peeking through the door crack,you saw Mabel and Dipper looking at each other with saddened looks.
"I'm not sure if we can trust her." Dipper spoke up.
"What!?But she's my best friend!Dipper!"
"Well,I'm sorry Mabel but your 'friend' isn't...well..."
"Well what?"
Dipper looked down,as if what he wanted to say was bothering him.
"It's just...I-I think she working with Bill."
You froze there,feeling yourself wanting to hear more that came out of their mouths.
"What!?Bro,have you lost your mind!?"
"No,I-I'm being serious,think about it! She stole the journal from me when it was vulnerable,AND I think she was lying about seeing him.I just have a gut feeling about it."
"Then tell me this.If she were working with Bill,then how come the journal is still here?"Mabel questioned.
Dipper stood there in thought.
"I-I don't know.Maybe it's apart of Bill's plan-"
"Dipper!You're just thinking too far into this!"Mabel interrupted.
"(y/n) hasn't done anything harmful since she's arrived here! What makes you think she'll start now?"
You backed away from the door,feeling hurt and torn.You went back to your covers,wrapping yourself around them.
You felt unwanted by Dipper,which was causing Mabel to become frustrated. Maybe you shouldn't have came here.
"Ah,don't feel down!Lets turn that frown,upside down!"You heard a familiar voice say,as they stretched your lips into an odd smile.
"Bill,just leave me alone."You mumbled.
"Come on,I'm not that bad,am I?"
You turned your back towards him, thinking that it'd be easier to ignore him that way.
"Hey,kid.Im not trying to hurt you."
You glanced over at him.Your heart started to beat faster,as if just looking at him made this small feeling grow inside you.His face made your heart melt,as it looked saddened.
"I just wanted to try one more time.If you don't want the deal,I understand-"
"No."You blurted out.
"No?"
"K-Keep talking.Im considering the offer you'll make."You spoke bluntly.
Bill looked at you with happiness.
"You mean you'll make a deal with me?"
"I didn't say that."
"But you said you'll consider it."
You rolled your eyes,gesturing him to continue with the deal.
"Well,since I can't get the journal,why don't I have something else?"
"Like what?"
He paused,pretending to think.
"Hm...maybe I'll have you?"
Shock could be read all over your face, along with embarrassment and nervousness.Bill started to laugh.
"Wow!Not in that context kid!Unless you want to?"
"NO!JESUS!"You yelled at him, playfully punching him in the shoulder.
"Okay,I get it.Geez.What I meant was, how about we work together?"
You looked at him confused,but he looked away in amazement.
"You'll be the Bond girl to my James Bond.The Robin to my Batman.The Rose to my Doc-"
"Okay!I get it!"You interrupted him.
"But why me?"
He started to think again,floating upside down.It made you dizzy just looking at him.
"I'm not sure.I just have this feeling, telling me to keep you close."He whispered softly into your ear.
"I think you're a little too close for comfort."You whispered back,pushing him backwards to see him float a few feet back.
"Seriously,take it into consideration. We work together,but only if you'll give up something precious to me."
You looked at him astonished,not sure of how to reply."Something...precious huh?"
"Yes,anything that means a lot to you will do fine."
You reached over to pick up one of your luggage bags.Opening it,you took out a necklace,placing it into Bill's Palm.He examined it throughly,as you watched it disappear within his blue flames.
"I guess it's a deal then,pal?"
You reached out your hand,shaking with his.You felt immediately a sense of regret and guilt.
