What is it that you want more than anything?

Is it strength?

Courage?

Willpower?

Remorse?

Kindness?

Love?

Forgiveness?

Knowledge?

To know right from wrong?

Anger from pain?

Love from deception?

Sympathy from pity?

Or is it much more than just feeling something.

Perhaps...

Perhaps what you want is something much greater than any of those human traits.

Those human thoughts and feelings.

Perhaps...

It's much more than I'll ever know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pain filled every inch of the innards of your clenched throat. Breathing became a desperate attempt at just keeping your eyes focused on what was occurring only feet away. Breathing was the only thing you could feel control over, and even then, you could feel every second of it taken away the more you struggled in gasps and chokes.
From the second you laid eyes on that shaped demon, you had your humanely gut feeling of uneasiness overwhelm you. And for betraying such a human feeling, this was the price you suffered.
You wondered in this time of light headed dizziness, if your mother cared that you had disappeared that one day. That day you tried to escape this hell hole. But everyone knows you can't leave hell with a brisk walk, and a prideful smile. No, not even for a child like you.
Suffocation began to take hold in your occupying thoughts now. Not even a whine to be heard from the muffles you spat.
And while all this was happening...
He stood with a grin.
That same glimmering grin you'd seen so much that it began to irritate you.
That same sulking stance you'd seen before he'd begin calling you by your sorted nicknames.
That same eager eyed look you'd seen him make just a second less when he'd shake your hand as the devil does.
And as the devil would continue to do.
The fact that he had taken control of your body in order to steal the journal away from Dipper still lurked in your mind. Lingering guilt being the only sensible feeling that felt good in your state.
How many deals had you made with him already? Too many to know how stupid you felt. People always said the devil had ways to trick others with his charm. How were you to know you'd meet that fate so soon?
The toxic noise of his menacing laugh rang in your deafening ears. This pyramid he had constructed was his prized castle. And the mass herd of solidified, concrete bodies that stacked together, were his mighty throne.
It was because you let him take advantage of you, that Gravity Falls was doomed in a suburban dystopia. Even now as your eyes could barely keep track on focusing clearly, you knew you were to be held responsible.
"Take care"
Those words your mother told you on your very first day here. Those very same words it seems you also completely disregarded.
