Chapter 2 "Its just a Journal"

You awoke to see Mabel hovering over you.You gave her a blank look.

"Morning sleepyhead!"She yelled, startling you completely awake.

You quickly sat up,as Mabel was laughing on the floor.

"Breakfast is ready."She mumbled, the only words escaping from her joyous laughter.

You walked down the steps,following Mabel's gorgeous dance moves, that were some what comedic to you. Turning the corner,you saw Dipper getting ready to rush out the door.

"Where are you going?"You questioned him.

He stopped mid tracks,looking at you shockingly.His hand gripping tightly on the door knob.

"Oh,uh...I'm going to go into the woods.You know.Exploring and stuff."

You nodded your head,as you watched him swing the door open. Before you could even say a word, he waved goodbye,slamming the old, wooden door behind him.

"Ugh.Thats Dipper for you!"Mabel spoke sarcastically,as you nervously laughed it off.

Sitting at the table,you were finishing up the rest of your eggs on your plate.You glanced over at Mabel to see her hanging up the wall phone.

"Guess what?"She asked excitedly.

"What?"

"...GIRLS DAY THATS WHAT!"She yelled,jumping around the place.

"Hey,if you could keep it down a notch,that'd be great."You heard a voice say,as an older,red headed girl stood at the doorway.

"Sorry Wendy!"Mabel apologized,as the girl giggled.

"It's cool."

She then left,as you glanced back at Mabel for answers.

"Oh,that's Wendy.She works here. Isn't it neat?"She replied,as you nodded your head in agreement.

You both sat around in the attic, waiting for two of Mabel's friends to show.Suddenly,a knock at the door could be heard,as Mabel rushed out of the room.You then felt completely alone.

All you could think about was the journal.It still lingered at the back of your mind.It was like when you get a cold.It was annoying and persistent.

You snapped out of thought,as Mabel returned upstairs.Two girly figures stood behind her.

"(y/n)! Id like to introduce you too my two best friends! Meet Grenda and Candy! Say hi!"

You waved at them,as they waved back.

"It's so nice to meet you (y/n).Mabel has talked about you for quite some time."The shorter,black haired girl, Candy,said to you.

"Wow!You're even prettier in person!" The larger,brown haired girl,Grenda, added.

You blushed a bit."Thank you! That means a lot.Its nice to meet you both."

You all laughed together,as Mabel started to speak up.

"Oh! I have an idea!"

She then sat down in the middle of the room,gesturing for you all to sit in a circle.

"Let's play truth or dare! Come on, it'll be fun!"

You nodded,agreeing to the ridiculous game.Sitting beside Mabel, you watched as all eyes went on you.

"I'll go first.Truth or dare"She asked you.

"Uh...truth?"You felt like starting off with a truth would help you understand better about how the others would pick,seeing how extreme the dares we're going to be as well.

"Do you like dogs?"She asked.

"Ah,Mabel!That seems to easy for a truth.Here,let me."Grenda spoke up, looking into your (e/c) eyes.

"Who's your favourite boy band, and who's your favourite member that you've got the hots for?"She asked.

"Oh um,I'd have to say (favourite band) is my favourite band,and (favourite member of said band) I like the most."

They all starred at you in wonder.

"Those are some good choices." Candy spoke up.

You laughed a bit,as you all continued the charade till dawn.

"One last one!"Mabel said, pointing at you."Truth or dare."

"Truth."

"Alright um...Do you believe in the paranormal?"

You paused for a second,thinking about your answer.This seemed straight out of the blue,even for Mabel.

"The Paranormal? I wouldn't say I do." You answered.

"What! How could you not! Man you should've-"Mabel stopped herself, looking down at her feet."Sorry.Got a bit dramatic there."She laughed off.

You laughed along with her,but you knew something was up.What did she mean by "you should've"?You should've what?

"I'm back!"You heard a voice call out from below,as you all looked at the door in wonder.It opened up slowly,as you saw Dipper's face,peek out curiously."Hey."He spoke up.

The others started to laugh,as they looked at each other with gleeful looks.

"You know what this means girls!" Mabel yelled,as they all stood up.

"It's makeover time!"Grenda yelled,as they all ran towards Dipper.

"Woah!Wait!"He spoke,before getting tackled by the three of them.You started to laugh at the sight,when you heard the sound of something drop against the hard,wood floor.

It was the journal.

"Now's your chance.Get it."You thought,as you continued to stare at it.You hurried up,grabbing the journal from the floor and starting to open it up.

"Hey!Stop!"Dipper yelled,as he escaped the girl's grip.

You saw him heading your way,as you began to panic."The woods" you thought,as you rushed out the door.

Running down the creaky steps,you pushed your way out the front door, starting to flip through the pages some more.All the strange creatures that you could see we're starting to freak you out.

"(y/n) please!Just give me back the journal!"You heard Dipper yell from a close distance behind.

You continued to flip through,till a gust of wind landed on a certain page.It showed a triangle,with a name written beside it."Bill...Cipher?"You spoke out loud curiously.

Before you knew it,the colour faded to monochrome,making you stop in your tracks.You turned around to see Dipper frozen in place."What's going on?"You thought to yourself, inspecting Dipper.

"You'd like to know,wouldn't you?"
