Chapter 3 "Bill Cipher"

You starred at the figure,confused and a bit frightened.It was a yellow triangle,who wore a top hat and bow tie.His only eye that stood out from his face,watched you like a hawk.

"So kid,do you want to know or what?"

You stood,starring at the shape with shock and disbelief.You quickly nodded your head yes however,as if under his spell.He rolled his eye,and changed his form.

"This better?"

A tall,thin man stood before you. Wearing a long,yellow suit jacket with black dress pants to match.His black eye patch matched the thickness of his yellow locks,that were done perfectly,with a little black top hat on top.

You nodded your head yes again,not sure of what to say to a being like this.

"Listen,you can speak,it's not like I'm going to kill you for doing so.I'm not that brutal."He laughed,floating closer to you.

"So,you'll tell me about the journal then?"You asked.

"I could..."He trailed off,smiling deviously."But it wouldn't be as fun as watching you struggle to grasp the knowledge."He joked.

"What?But you said-"

"Ya,I say a lot of things I don't mean kid,don't you?"

He floated behind,wrapping an arm around your waist.His yellow eyes gave you shivers down your back, as if it were a warning.

"How about we make a deal."

"A deal?Why don't you just tell me!"

"Cause,that's not how business works kid."

You rolled your eyes,moving away to face the man.

"What business?Who are you anyways?"

He started to giggled,and wouldn't stop.

"Wow kid,knew you were clueless but I didn't know you were this clueless!"

He grabbed your hand,smiling down at you from above.

"The names Bill Cipher.And yours?"

"I-I'm (y/n)"

"Last name?"

"(L/n)..."

"So you're (y/n) (L/n)! Your new here right? That explains some things."

You glanced down at the journal,as it still was flipped to the page about the man before you,or who he had claimed to be.

"Right,the journal.Im getting too lost in your (e/c) eyes,I'm starting to forget what I came here for."

You blushed from his comment,but waited for him to continue.

"Have you by any chance had some sort of..'desire' for this book?I'll tell you right now that that wasn't your desire,but mine.Ya see kid,I needed to use-or the politer term,ask you,to get the journal for me."

He then lurked closer to your ear.

"I can't take it.You've noticed it haven't you?Pine tree's obsession with the book?Ya.Bit too unhealthy of a relationship if you ask me."
He joked,laughing while floating a few feet away.

"So,what do you want with the journal then?"You questioned.

"What do I want with it?To destroy it of course!That thing knows waaaay too much and I'm not going to let it linger around any longer."

He then floated back to you, reaching out his hand."So if you'd be a doll and hand it over like a good puppet-"

"No!"
